Re: Wombling free

It's not just the results it's the nature of our performances. Last night we only just sneaked past a very very poor side. Yes we were on a bad run but, come on. Under CW we've never had the most potent of strike forces and now the defence seems shot away. So much for injuries. The big miss is Dubbe...

&quotAnd I'm sure it was only a couple of games ago most on here were saying give Wilder until Christmas, I think I largely agree with that.&quot There's 13 league games between now and Christmas. If we lost the next 12 would you still be prepared to give him the 13th to see if he could turn...

Re: 5 in a row

Fundamental disagreement with GY that Craddock is a lazy git on yesterday’s showing. But there would be wouldn’t there as I am a big Craddock fan, although I’ll admit he hasn’t been great of late along with many / most / all others. Yesterday as Dr B says “he was having to come deep to bolster the m...

Re: Still top of the league

I'm a massive Craddock fan but I thought yesterday he was far from his best. He gave the ball away too often. &quotStrong in the challenge&quot - plenty of people are of the opinion that he is lightweight. I think you are being very harsh on Constable. It was JC who set up Craddock when he s...

Whisky

I seem to remember one of our regular posters is a whisky expert as they sell it for a living.
Just wondering how rare bottles of whisky are that are 70 per cent proof.
I've inherited a bottle of Haig Gold Label that's 70 per cent.
I know whisky is generally 40 per cent proof now.

Frank - was last season's final table published - I don't remember seeing it? And come to that is Frank actually running it this season. Lot of hassle for no reward whatsoever. Re: Prison sentence for a smoke bomb?

Agree with GY - I go to football to watch football. Not smoke or the back of some banner someone has decided to wave around whilst play is going on, or the back of one of those stupid hats that sit a few feet on top of the head (not see very often but have a tendency to appear for the big games when...

Re: Prison sentence for a smoke bomb?

The law is, at its heart, simplistic. If you break it, you risk punishment. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. If the sentence is within the prescribed range, then it's not 'harsh' And if you need smoke bombs to generate atmosphere and drama at a football match, you've got some odd prior...

Re: Hodgy

Have I missed his retirement? A couple of the videos from the US both mention Brown being the new goalkeeping coach - had Hodgy called it a day (or was he pushed?) I'm pretty sure it was announced that we will have 2 goalkeeping coaches with both Hodgy and Brown. I imagine Hodgy will want to start ...
