Re: Pep Booted
This decision baffles me. In Apps first season we were in a far worse position but he was given time to turn it around. We've won 3 of our last 5 games and lost 2. Yes Bury was awful but they had a new manager to impress. Our league position is higher than I would expect given: - this is Peps first ...

Re: Who do you want next?
I think Mark Warburton would be a decent shout. Did an amazing job at Brentford and well at Rangers before the Forest curse struck. He seems to be someone who would fit with them buy them young and cheap and sell them young and expensive. Also has a background in the city so him and Eales may get on...

Re: When do we start panicking?
I think whether you think it is the time to panic or not depends on your expectations for this season. If you feel we should be in the play offs as a minimum than yes we should be panicking as we seem to be slipping away from this position. However, as I said in Nov Well with Hall out for 4 months i...

Re: The longest pier you'll ever see
I thought the team showed great spirit in coming away with a draw and although both teams could have got a win it was notable just how few saves either keeper made. A combination of a robust offside trap and the woodwork coming to the rescue. Thomas continues to be a revelation this season, if the b...

Re: Rovers Return
I would imagine Pep agrees that Martin isn't good enough which is why he is 5th choice centre back - what was Apps thinking letting Wright go for him. Our consistently inconsistent strikes again. There is clearly something about this team being the (joint) top scorers in the division. But we are sho...

Re: Doom and Gloom
Well with Hall out for 4 months it is certainly a gloomy season. I think given the injury list, a new manager and a number of players who haven't played in the UK before I would be quite happy with a season of consolidation at this point and be ready to push on next season. If Thomas gets injured I ...

Re: This suspected takeover
I would also be interested in why OxVox are still pursuing a deal with Kassam on the stadium when it seems blatantly obvious that it will never happen and they are just acting as a shield for Kassam to dealing with Eales. You think Eales is trying to deal with Kassam and buy the ground for OUFC? Re...

Re: Doom and Gloom
Agree we are in a better position than recent seasons, however, after 2 seasons of real progress we seem to be moving backwards. There have been little signings of potential, Peps all seem to be injured and/or not very good. I said it last year - we missed a real opportunity to sneak into the play o...

Takeover or an injection of cash. I would also be interested in why OxVox are still pursuing a deal with Kassam on the stadium when it seems blatantly obvious that it will never happen and they are just acting as a shield for Kassam to dealing with Eales.

Re: Appleton in!
His best mate going isn't going to help his cause, there is a reasonable chance that he will be out, or the third coach if the new man brings his own team in, which they often want to do at that level. Although if he goes on a winning run he may be manager of the champions of england of last year on...

Re: The Magic Of The FA Cup : Port Vale AWAY
First thoughts were this was a horrendous draw. Then I looked at the league table and rethought.
Now just really bad.

Re: BLACK gas
Agree to an extent about the full backs - against PBoro, most of their attacks came down our right as Ribs kept getting caught out of position/providing an extra option to our attack. However, he was rarely beaten on a one on one. Perhaps the problem is we don't fill in effectively enough for him wh...
