Having been out of the country for the true 'glory years', my favourite memories tend to stem from that incredible run-in of the 95/96 season. We were suddenly, unexpectedly winning games 4 and 5 and 6-0, as a previously average team suddenly clicked. What made it even more enjoyable was the fact th...

It's 3 of 6 so far, isn't it? Day, Odubabe, Willmott. Still waiting on Quinn, Foster(L) and Corcoran.

Out of interest, what has happened to Gareth Tucker? Is he still on a youth deal or has he been released?

It's just Histon FC btw, not Histon United. Still find it difficult to believe they're in step 1 of non-league, but I'm dead pleased for them.

how did we blow the penalties from 2-1?
It was 3-1 at one point, though admittedly we'd taken three and them only two at that point.

Exeter's superb wide/wing play made me wonder when we'll get a manager who believes in wingers once more. I miss it.

I think I'm always more nervous before crunch promotion games rather than crunch relegation games. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I feel more for a team that has done well during a season - I'd feel worse for them at the idea of a good season that doesn't quite come off, than at a ...

Another question:

Is it true that Exeter, like Oxford, have never yet played a play-off game of any variety? (Not many league/former league clubs can this still apply to, I'd imagine.)

Anybody sure about how the semis work? 1) Do away goals count (in the usual sense of the side with more away goals going through if result tied after two legs)? 2) Is there potential for extra time in the second leg? 3) If the answer to both above is 'yes', then do away goals count before or after t...

It's Exeter

This scares me. I still think that despite the fact we beat them 1-0 at home, they looked a very impressive side that day. (I didn't see the away match.)

Player contracts tend to run until the last day in June, do they not? So perhaps that is the official definition of season's end.
