Re: OXFORD v Barnet
Slocombe came for crosses! I agree with most of your post but this?! Really? From the corner that led to the counter attack where Macca got through on goal, at the start of the second half, the ball was played in about 3 or 4 yards in front of the goal and Slocombe still didn't fancy it! Maybe I am...

Re: OXFORD v Plymouth Argyle
SWA - I'll grant you he can dribble fairly well for a defender, but beyond a simple pass his distribution is weak IMO, if no midfielder makes himself available (which they should and normally do do) then he struggles.

Re: OXFORD v Plymouth Argyle
I find it really interesting that people are saying they're sure we'll go up, I agree that things are looking great at the moment but there's still a long way to go! The same names keep cropping up - Roofe, Sercombe, Graham, Hylton etc- all brilliant, exciting players. But one man who I still feel d...

Re: Oriental Slipper
Hog and Geoff out in front as the only ones to predict a draw, Hog correctly predicted one more of the other games and takes the victory.

Most points wins, questions are about the Oxford game unless stated otherwise, obviously: 1. What will the final score be? [10 points for correct score, 3 if incorrect score but correct result] 2. Will Grimsby win? [1 point] 3. Will the following teams win their games? a) Stockport [1] b) Notts Coun...

Re: Scum Boots
I agree with Hog, I did only get 4, 1 for result and 3 for attendance. I apologise for not checking the boot before now, if I had then we might have cleared it up a bit quicker.

James Roberts Family Bereavement
The club has released a statement about the tragic death of 16 year old Ben Roberts, brother of James. It puts something like tomorrow night in perspective, such a massive game but virtually meaningless compared to what is quite literally life and death. I think all of our thoughts are with the fami...

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round
Newport County have this afternoon sacked manager Terry Butcher. Crikey, that didn't take them long - the new Supporter's Trust only took over today. Has to be the right move though - I saw their 0-3 home gubbing to York and they were dreadful. Really? Newport already have precious little budget an...
