Re: Records show structure of Oxford United takeover deal
Daryl Eales owns 10%. Can't remember precise figures, but Tiger must own around 79%. A legal charge, or debenture, is like mortgage or secured loan. It remains on the company's records until it's terms have been met, which makes it difficult to sell the company without repaying the loan first and ve...

Re: Who do you want next?
Bellamy ruling himself out fits in with the delayed press conference and empty chairs.
Re: Tiger
Too early to say a bad start, but unusually for a Chris Williams organised event, the initial conference told us nothing. I suspect a managerial announcement was expected, but possibly contract negotiations couldn't be tied up in time, hence the need for a couple of days breathing space. The Singapo...
Re: Tiger
Otmoor Yellow mentioned that OUFC shares will now be held by Oxford Investment Holding pte Ltd, and that pte is not a commonly used designation in the UK. Are you able to give a bit more detail than that, for us lay people? Not a great deal more at the moment. I can confirm the company is registere...

Letter to shareholders dated 21st February 2018 from Darryl Eales on behalf of OUFC : ‘I am pleased to write to you today to provide information on a number of changes that are taking place which I believe will strengthen the future prospects of the club. After just over three years, I am stepping ...

Re: Who do you want next?
Quote from Sol Campbell: "I'm confident and it's not like it's rocket science to run a football club, especially when you get to that level. If you're intelligent enough and a quick learner you will learn pretty soon, within two or three games, what the team needs, training-wise, to survive in...

Re: Argyle trial
Mousinho head and shoulders above his team mates? Really? I throught he was poor and pretty much everyone else I've spoken to does as well. He was at serious fault for Plymouth's goal, letting his marker get into space behind for the header that effectively won the match. Sure Eastwood should have d...

Re: When do we start panicking?
Perhaps not panic quite yet, but serious concerns now. The big problem is that we still have to play away at Wigan, Blackburn, Shrewsbury and Doncaster. We may well struggle to get a single point from those games. That being the case, we need to get 10, maybe 12 points from the other nine matches at...
Re: Mousinho
When he first came into the team, i thought he looked much better than he does now. It cannot be laid at the door of having to cover for a weak/dodgy centre-back partner because his performances have gone downhill over a period of time with different partners, and too often they are individual erro...

Re: Who do you want next?
What would people's view on Stuart McCall for next Oxford manager be?
Re: Mousinho
He is certainly not living up to his record before joining us.
He is definitely not worth a place in the team.

Re: that back pass
The difference between MApp and Pep is that MApp inherited a poor squad and made it good, whereas Pep inherited a good squad and made it bad, albeit in fairness to Pep the summer sales and injuries played a big part too.
