Re: Tumbleweed

There are lots of things going on in the background to talk about. The ownership structure Is partly on the OWS https://www.oufc.co.uk/club/information/ A bit of digging (and a few pounds to download) on Singapore Company registry shows that Tiger has long since ceased to be a majority shareholder o...

It's a difficult stat to follow up, but what other managers have been sacked /resigned following a game against us?

Re: Season predictions 2022/23

Last Thursday was one of the most bizarre transfer related days for Oxford United since Beano turned down a move to Paolo Di Canio's Slumdon, apparently for double the wages. In the morning we were told that Blackpool had met the buy-out clause for Cameron Brannagan. At that point I was convinced he...

Re: Have I Got Old News For You

Big feature on John Aldridge, focussing on his time at Tranmere. I didn't realise he played quite so long for them, or that Tranmere were in the equivalent of the Championship at the time.

Re: Fixtures

Derby is the only ground I haven't been to with Oxford. I went there once when we had a game against Burton on a Saturday moved to the Sunday as Derby had Stoke at home in the FA Cup, and as I had the trains booked, I went to that match (as well as going back to Burton on the Sunday). Sadly it clash...
