Or a flurry of runs, I ought to get some sleep as I've got to be on my way to work at 05:00. If you are out first ball it's called a Golden Duck and it turns out that Katich was out for a Diamond Duck i.e. he didn't face a single ball. From back in my playing days we always called it a platinum duc...

Re:

260 may not be that bad a score if Swanny starts to make use of the turn. Let's just hope the crim's are not finding form at the wrong moment. not going to turn. sorry. (prepared to eat metaphorical hat). Interesting. An Aussie I was talking to this morning reckoned it will turn. In the past Shane ...

I think whichever way you look at it 260 on that track was a bad score. There were too many bad shots, and too much playing without moving feet. Still, I will be up at 5am tomorrow morning for the evening session hoping that the bowlers have dug us out of a big hole.

If it was '89, then it would have been 4-0 to the convicts with 2 drawn matches in a 6 test series.

I was there as well, and had a strong feeling of being robbed at the end. It wasn't made any better by a small minority of the locals celebrating on the pitch at the end and coining the away fans. Never seen so much coinage in the air.

Minchery Manor. Personally I don't want the word 'Manor' anywhere near it, The Manor is (unfortunately) in the past. And anyone who suggests 'The New Manor' should be taken outside and shot. Much as I agree with the sentiment, I suspect that it would have a serious reductionist effect on our fanbas...

A mate of mine got married on the same day as the Oxford-Peterborough game that we needed to win to get promotion! Listening to it all happen on a concealed radio was just not the same as being there. :(

Speaking of which, is your bro really running City reserves/Nomands, and what are Fordy’s chances of turning things around at Court Place Farm as the club's funding would be badly hit if they don't get their act together? Yeah he is managing the Nomads with Andy Sinnott his old Thame Utd manager. J...
