part 2 of the interview
is here, including the bit Boris typed out.
Interesting to see from part 1 that "the club do not have to pay any interest " on the WPL loans. Does that means interest is being charged / accrued but not paid in cash, or is the loan now interest free?

I don't think the BMW / unemployed promotion was ever going to get many people in. The cost of a day at the football is not just the ticket price. Burger, programme, travel, beer. As for tickets being overpriced, there are how many season ticket holders? 3,000? I think so long as price increases are...

Was having a browse to see if I could find a stagsnet Mansfield town game review. Instead I found their February ticket offers for family and children.. - season ticket holders - an additional adult and 2 children for £16 or £14 depending on which stand, if booked prior to the game - non-season tick...
Re: Barrow
so long as you don’t commit the hideous offence of waving a flag when the game is in progress. Well the steward who was playing hunt the smoke bomb also didn't let me take my waving flag up to the top after kick-off. I wanted to leave it propped up at the top in case we scored - but was told to tak...

Mally - not sure where you get the charge to HSBC on OUFC assets from. I must have confused this with something else (or another group of companies altogether) so I am not sure why I thought it was a group loan facility. Found it I think - Stadco had a bank loan secured by fixed and floating charge...

Re:
The club have always had a bank charge in the accounts so it's not necesarily anything to get too concerned about. There's been a charge by HSBC since 2002. If this is an additional charge then it looks like the club potentially owes money to 2 banks. However if it's simply replacing the existing H...

Thanks Smiley. I wonder if their future might be placed in some jeapordy, if the present owners decide they want as much of their money back as possible, and potentia l buyers won't stump up the cash. Actually I don't wonder, as Liverpool will have a queue of potential buyers, but it's fun to specu...

I wrote a letter (by post) to the Conference saying: - if they had had proper procedures then Eddie would not have been able to get on the teamsheet in the first place if his registration wasn't in place - they should have detected this after the first game - that it happened to 3 other teams is a s...

Re:
A far more sensible system would be something like a 1 point deduction for every £10k of losses that a club incurs. So a club running up a loss could not gain by overspending. Imagine applying that to Chelsea. Pre-tax Loss for 06/07 was 75.8million. at 1 point for each 10k = -7580 points. Even a &a...
