Re:

Not a lottery but it still strikes me as unfair that a team finishing 12 points behind second place ( as York potentially could ) are given a second chance. This is tre, but the play offs are about which is the lesser of two evils: a) Someone not finishing second getting promotion, or b) Many teams...

Part of the delay in the past I think is that our club counts and checks the number of tickets sent so that they can account back fully to the away club. Or we could always take the Leeds-Millwall play-off approach of everyone having to get a coach from the stadium, and tickets are handed over at a ...

They've stuck an extra £1 on the play-off tickets for &quotadministrative costs&quot. I wonder if they will give two stands to away supporters like they have for Luton in the last game if the season.

I had the same thought, although was rather pre-occupied with VAT matters at the time  My best guess is that between Oxvox and OUFC they have mixed up accounts years and football seasons, and perhaps the OUFC message was &quot we lost a lot of money last {financial} year but the Deano mone...

I think the difference in 2010 can be broken down into a number of areas:- Better commercial work - sharing advertising and catering revenues with Stadco Presumably a better take up of boxes this season Higher average attendances, plus 2 home FA Cup ties with good crowds against Yeovil and Barrow Ti...

Re:

try page 15 (17 of the pdf) of the FA guidance but what would they know? I've seen it already. It is now 6 years out of date, and produced by Delloitte's, which means it is probably wrong. As I said above, it's being argued by Man Utd, but what would they know? And you still haven't dealt with the ...

Re:

VAT would not be payable at 30 June 3009 on advanced season ticket sales, as given the nature of the business, it would be very foolish indeed for the club to operate cash accounting for VAT – they would simply end up with a big VAT bill at the start, followed by regular re-claims for expenses as i...

The Oxvox minutes say the Whitehead money will appear in the 2010/11 accounts. I thought the deal went through Jan 2010 so surely this should appear in the 2009/10 acs? The large &quotaccruals and deferred income&quot I am guessing is largely season tickets bought in advance. Will try and fi...

Re:

4. How does this level of debt compare with other clubs in the conference - how about league 2 or 1? I'd guess much worse but I don't know for sure - Anybody know? Can we not get the publicly published accounts of other clubs from the same source that we got OUFC accounts from? I guess most people ...
