However, being who they are, they attracted support from MPs, the media and offers of free legal support and lo and behold their punishment was cut to just three points on appeal (whereas the Alty appeal was thrown out last year). It is worth noting that Altrincham fans backed AFCW in their appeal ...

76 for me as well. I worked out the ppg average of all the teams, and multiplied by 46. Seemed as good a way as any.

The 6th placed team got 75, so 76 it is. Oddly, the 5th placed team got 75 as well, so it's slightly misleading, but 76 is the score needed to guarantee 5th in that case.

Oh, I remembered, it was Jordan Holder. But I think maybe he made another sub appearance actually? Not sure.

How about Jimmy Glass? (He may have made two appearances too actually.)

There was definitely a youth teamer called Mark Stevens who made just the one appearance, he says hopefully...

(Mentioned Hubert Busby, but then saw Mally had already...)

Who was that youth striker who came on as a sub in our last game of our last season at the Manor? (or is my memory playing tricks?)

Yes surely a wage cap actually proves an advantage to clubs (like us) with higher turnovers? We surely have a higher cap level than any other side in this division? If that's true, we can hardly whinge about unfairness...

If the revenue goes to the stadium company, then surely companies won't even deal with the club when applying for perimeter advertising? Their deals will be strictly with Firoz's company, so it should be quite apparent to them where their money is going - the stadium company surely cannot pretend to...

The Oxford Mail seems to have latched onto a non-story today about our three-sided ground not being to conference standard It is true it doesn't meet the Grade A requirements for sides being promoted into the conference, but it has always been the case (as part of the promotion agreement between Lea...

I've often been impressed with Billy Beechers, and seen Kennett put in a good couple of performances for the reserves too. Don't know too much about Gunn, but I reckon this is a positive sign that the club is taking youth development seriously.
