The League 2 team gets a repreive, sorry. You have to earn promotion, then it's up to the League to let you in.
We could try buying the club and running into receivership so they get docked 10 points!

Sorry, not me. Despite the mounting evidence to the contrary, I have a fan's confidence that we will win the league."boris" wrote:I remain stupidly confident, in the face of all evidence to the contrary, that we will get promoted. Automatically.
Please can someone disabuse me of this notion.

Re: Video of Kristaps
What strikes me about this video is that the stadium he was playing in was no better than ours (and had at least one open end), which means adapting to the conditions of the Conference (&Div 2?) may not be so difficult for him - if that was a concern. Agree about the stadium. Capacity is 5,0...

Scorer of the fourth goal, not the prettiest you'll ever see, but it goes in the net.
Shame it's not their number three!!!!!!

Sorry to disappoint, but last years final was held at West Ham, so expect more of the same. Given that the entire populations of many of the home towns in the trophy might struggle to fill the new Wembley, I'd guess it's unlikely in the future as well. £50 grand though, might pay for half a strike i...

The payoff comes with the smug feeling when we win the Champions League in 2015.

From Saturday he looks like he's been tapped up already. We don't have the luxury of accomodating unsettled players - if we can't reassure him that we can beat their offer, then let him go and get in someone who wants a go. With the money we might even afford a pair of half-decent wings, then worry ...
I don't think the Daggers can keep up for the whole season. They've got a tiny squad (about 16 excluding Cole?) and no money for new players. They've been incredibly lucky injury-wise, and the winter will probably put paid to that. We just need to keep up the form, and I'll take a lucky win any day ...

In 1962 Coventry were in Division 3, while we were, of course, in Division 4, so it wasn't a league game. We were beaten 3-0 by Brentford in the first round of the FA Cup for 61-62, and we lost 5-1 to Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup for 62-63 (in Jan of 63). We lost 2-0 to Torquay in the fi...
