I voted no, not because Duffy's a bad player as such, but because when he's on the pitch, we seem to play badly at the mo.

Don't ask me to justify it, it's just a gut feeling. But I have a pretty big gut!

Actually, we all start out as both a sperm and an ovum. Did you not get the &quotbirds and bees&quot memo? If you want to be gender neutral, you could use the scrabbletastic word &quotzygote&quot. Which means either an egg or a sperm cell. Back to the matter in hand, I really hope we...

LOL - are they showing Oxford games to remind people why they pay to watch the Premiership? :)

Great reports here and on the main page - thanks guys, and keep it going! Re: Grebis' missed chances, how many were shots on target that were saved/defended, and how many were off? Because the SOT column for the U's has been the main reason for the poor run recently, and given that Luton reserves ca...

I only write down what the sophisicated computer program tells me. I desperately want to be wrong, but I just can't see us scoring at the mo.

Using the patented predict-o-matic, I forecast with unerring accuracy:

Dark Blues 0 - 1 Light Blues
Morrison their scorer
Att: 5775 with 388 away
UE: A halfway-decent Oxford performance :(

Re:

...That would be fair comment if he were playing as a winger, but he's a wing-back. I think he's let down badly by his team mates, who use him as an outlet (often the only one), but then offer very little by way of support when he's in possesion... Actually, he's badly let down by his manager insis...

Yeah, thanks Jim. We could have won all eight of the last eight games, if you hadn't persisted with that ridiculous system that we don't have the players for, and which all the opposition pray that we trot out each week.

Sorry, but it really does have to start: &quotSmith Out&quot

No crisis. As GY states, Directors Loans are a cashflow solution, nothing more. As a company director myself, you move money about in this way all the time - my company has owed me thousands when it first started up, now I owe it (actually the pension fund) thousands in return. Should contracts get ...

Well, I expect everyone is working from the following logic: We have more money, better resources and (on paper) better players than every other team in this league. Ergo , there's no need to do anything fancy - we'll play good 'ol 4-4-2, and it's up to you to come up with the gameplan to beat us. W...

"We have not really had a losing run..."

&quot...we have had a drawing run. But it's when you start losing - that's when it hurts you more.&quot - quote from Jim Smith on BBC News website. Excuse me Jim, but it hurts when we're not winning. And the opposition are overtaking us in the league. And the players don't seem to care. And ...
