Re:

VAT would not be payable at 30 June 3009 on advanced season ticket sales, as given the nature of the business, it would be very foolish indeed for the club to operate cash accounting for VAT – they would simply end up with a big VAT bill at the start, followed by regular re-claims for expenses as i...

The Oxvox minutes say the Whitehead money will appear in the 2010/11 accounts. I thought the deal went through Jan 2010 so surely this should appear in the 2009/10 acs? The large &quotaccruals and deferred income&quot I am guessing is largely season tickets bought in advance. Will try and fi...

4. How does this level of debt compare with other clubs in the conference - how about league 2 or 1? I'd guess much worse but I don't know for sure - Anybody know? Can we not get the publicly published accounts of other clubs from the same source that we got OUFC accounts from? I guess most people ...

Well you've all picked up the negatives. How about ... With effect from April 2008 WPL has not charged interest on the loan. Interest accrued between April and June 2008 of £29K has been written back this year. The long term (over 5 years) operating lease commitment (ie stadium rent and service char...

It won't go away though..... &quotThe Chester Seven wait on Town's FA appeal&quot. Despite the BSP Seven having been told, somewhat surprisingly, they didn't put their appeals in on time, and having their case chucked out, it looks like it may be back on should Fleetwood win their identical...

Re:

They actually gained three points from the games in question (3 draws). Maybe it's to do with the fact that as they're already relegated there's little point in docking them further points because it's not going to make any difference anyway (which is probably also the reason why Grays withdrew the...

Re:

You'd think that the Conference would make a similar announcement on their own website. Very odd. It was impossible for me to find from the Skysports homepage, but luckily someone had linked to it on tiu. I wouldn't be surprised if the Conference or Blue Square actually paid Sky to promote the game.

Somehow after 4 years down in BSP, losing games no long seems as depressing as it once did. I missed the Droyslden and Rushden 5-0 away games which seem to feature in a lot of &quotlows&quot, but Grays away last year, Histon when we got hammered 5-2 in the cold, and Lewes away 2-1 all seemed...

The non-league double

After Hayes and Yeading did the non-league double over us this season, where does that rank in terms of &quotlow points&quot of Oxford United?

(I note in 07/08 Aldershot, Cambridge and Northwich all did the double over us as well).

A very negative Salisbury side, constantly falling over &quotinjured&quot and needing the trainer to come on, yet up and running about seconds later. Also very slow substitutions - clearly just aiming for a draw. Bittner I didn't recognise at first, but was then reminded by his constant spit...
