Re: Flags

How ironic that you can have home fixture every season that promotes British militarism, replete with Union Jacks and war fatigues, but you can get into trouble for hanging an OUFC supporting flag in the stands on the grounds of safety. A bit over the top Tom. As someone with relatives in the milit...

Re: MERSTHAM FC

Can we also mention the 'finger' kid all over Twitter? Jeez. Someone has taught their son to do that, or not taught them not to do it. Either way, it's pretty sad. You can if you like. I didn't see this, but if it's a kid giving the middle finger to a player or the cameras, then people really have ...

Re: Stadium matters

we're not immovable though, are we? how long left on the lease now? that land without a sitting tenant would be absolute ambrosia for a property investor. Provided alternative uses could be found, and this would require a planning application that the Council would be within its rights to turn down...

Re: Stadium matters

It's going to be interesting because as we move up the leagues (!) the attendances will naturally grow and therefore so will the revenu from the stadium. FK is in a pretty good negotiating position because Eales is tuning it around of the pitch- the irony that the better the team does, the more it'...

Re: Stadco

This all sounds very strange. Why would anybody from Firoka call you in the first place? As you say all you have done is posted a document that is a matter of public record and infact a record that they Oh, OK I'll start  Another tough year for Stadco in their latest accounts. Kassam has had t...

Football in Gaza

A really positive initiative, and one that I hope people will support, following the club's lead http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/145097 ... en_in_Gaza/

Re: Sweet Caroline

I sort of knew that Carlisle away would be my last game of the season, since there was no chance of me getting a ticket for Wycombe, and anyway I live so far from Oxford, in Manchester. So I listened on the internet, as I always bloody do, the sad case that I am. And Yellows Player wasn't working pr...

Wycombe ticket wanted

Perhaps a bit of a long shot but I'm after buying a spare adult or student ticket for the Wycombe game, in any area of the ground.

Thanks very much.

Re: Accounts

The club's turnover in League 2 over the last five seasons since promotions has been fairly steady at around £3.25 million, with a drop to £2.9milion last season. Operating costs (presumably all of the player and backroom team) though have increased significantly. For five years from 2006 to 2010 t...

Re: Accounts

I'm no accountant either but I can't help wondering if Mr Eales really is someone a bit quite a lot different from previous owners or is he just another in a fairly long line of ... well, you know! Is he really going to write off all that cash or is he hoping that Stewart Donald will cover it when ...

Re: Accounts

How does one go about accessing the accounts? I fancy doing my own accounting analysis on them. I'm needing to learn about accointing for an entirely different purpose and this would be a relatively fun place to start. Thanks. Oh and by the way im less active in general on forums and social media, b...
