Re: Oxford Cty
A pithy observation from KY, there.
Which brought a smile to my face.

More importantly, does anyone know what time the bar opens at Court Place Farm this evening ?

His brown hair sets off the new shirt really well.

Re: Where are they now?
I find it really difficult to be rational or unemotional whenever Kinnear's name is mentioned. We've had managers at OUFC who 'weren't very good' - Bill Asprey, Malcolm Shotton for example, but no-one comes close to Kinnear when it comes to being both unsuccessful and a lying a*sehole without a shre...

Re: Where are they now?
Breathtaking.
The man is a clown. His arrogance is astonishing. I fear for genuine Newcastle fans - as indeed I felt for Sunderland fans when Di Canio was appointed last season.

Re: and so the Black cat Circus begins....
I know Di Canio is (ahem) a bit of cartoon character but based upon what I have read about the behaviour of some of his players, I'm on his side. I think after the season Sunderland have had, the fans have a right to expect pretty much zero tolerance towards sloppy personal standards by the players....

4 out of 10 for me - broadly consistent with my place 'in the shallow end of the intellectual pool'.

Re: The Fat Lady
As I recall, there was a rather lonely looking individual in the home end, his sandwiches in a M&S carrier bag, serenaded by the away fans with "Sh*t ground, one fan".

Re: Should I go to the match?
Quite possibly I am being a bit thick, but I'm wondering if I have lost sight of the main point(s) being made on this thread. Is it suggested that providing YP for free - or at least live matchday commentary free - will help the club attract/retain new supporters ? If so, I doubt it. But playing hal...

Re: Ian Leneghan
Having been pulled up for poor syntax myself recently, I have sympathy with Paul. Yesterday - no atmosphere, no fight, no guts. I'm normally a big fan of Tommy Craddock, but his performance yesterday was shocking and his petulant reaction to being (correctly) hauled off sums up a number of things th...

Re: Should I go to the match?
Good decision.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game. I'm hoping for a decent display and 3 points against a club that fancies themselves to be our rivals.

Re: Should I go to the match?
I guess what might make me feel a bit better would be some acknowledgement that CW understands how we feel when we have witnessed a 'disappointing' performance, or series of them. But I have heard or seen nothing. I haven't been to many away games this season, but I don't recall seeing him on the pi...
