Re: Front 4 for Saturday

How did this turn into a discussion on Breaking Bad!?! It should be Kitson,Smalley, Potter and Williams That would be my fault and I did state that it was a complete tangent. Was merely following on from a comment made by Recordmeister. But bringing it back to topic I actually agree it should be Ki...

Re: Front 4 for Saturday

Here's a revolutionary idea: why don't we play two strikers up front and two wingers on the wings. I know what you're thinking: "Recordmeister is either a mad man or a genius." Well, what can I say... other than cross me, and you'll wake up with an Ox's head in your bed. For me: Kitson &a...

Re: Joey's only game for the 'Ammers

An associated story, when I first moved to Milnrow I had a lodger who was a Bury fan and we talked football all the time and he was well aware of this tale and other Joey facts. Anyway in Nov 99 we played Bury at the Manor (1-1) on the day England beat Scotland 2-0 in a Euro championship play off. I...

Re: New Years Eve in Cardiff

I live in Cardiff and can assure you it's a good night out. Cardiff Bay is much classier than the city centre, but more pricey. Town will be very good but very busy on New Year's Eve, so be sure to book tickets in advance if you want a night out at anywhere reasonable. If you're staying in Cardiff ...

Re: New Years Eve in Cardiff

Well what started the day as a whim is now a done deal. Two rooms in The Park by Radisson for £128 seems very reasonable. OK Cardiff, Wales lets see what you have to offer....

New Years Eve in Cardiff

Am thinking of heading over to Cardiff for New Years Eve with an obvious view to Newport away the following day. It would appear that hotel prices are very reasonable. Is anyone else considering something like this? Could be a top night.

Re: The new season ticket holders bar

Yeah the Priory will be sorely missed. I agree the Hotel Bar is appallingly soulless. Not sure where to go before the next home game as driving down and back in day which makes stopping off in town difficult.- Really enjoyed the night out in Oxford after. The Blackbird, Angel and Greyhound, Half Moo...

Pre Bury Pub Crawl

Am staying down after the Bury game and was only able to get a Hotel in Wheatley as all City Centre ones were either full or a ridiculous price. So dropping the car off in Wheatley at 12 have planned this pub crawl to ground (will obviously require taxis between venue's unlike KY's foot weary meande...
