Re: Press Conference...
Is it just me, or did Wilder's speech at the Press Conference sound suspiciously like it was written by the same person who wrote ILs speech? [It] is the Board’s belief that Youth Development is the best strategy to support Oxford United’s further progression... I am happy to say that Chris Wilder ...

Re: Time for a change?
I would think that there are plenty of managers who would love to manage Oxford on even a reduced budget than last year (with the youth talent we hope is coming through). I am sure there are. But how can a reader decide if it is an ' out of the frying pan and into the fire' situation without the na...

Re: Time for a change?
I voted No simply because I have yet to see any of the 'outers' name a feasible 'guaranteed to do better' replacement. "guaranteed" is a bit of a big ask. I'm happy for CW to move on and the replacement be selected via application - it worked very well last time . Lets see who actua...

Re: Time for a change?
I voted No simply because I have yet to see any of the 'outers' name a feasible 'guaranteed to do better' replacement. This weekend the club have celebrated the 50th anniversary into the league. Since then we have achieved promotion 6 times - an average of about every 8 years or so. There is plenty ...

Re: Doing the right thing ...
Given that our season will be mathematically over on Saturday night and the current situation is not sustainable, especially financially, IL has no option but to make changes. In order to dispel the current angst, and act with integrity, it would be wholly appropriate to announce, on Tues / Weds, t...

Re: Should I go to the match?
Is it just the dismal football that is keeping people away from the matches. For me, the appallingly long winter has been a major factor. 5 times I have bought a ticket to go to a match and then chickened out on the day because of the cold. I have just bought a ticket for the Dagenham match. Only a ...

Re: Where are they now?
I wonder why Cheltenham let Zebroski leave? 6 goals in 24 not prolific but even so. Always seemed a decent player (albeit with an attitude- and couldn't take penalties in the play offs) and it seems a big drop down. Didn't he keep turning up late for the team bus etc? I think there is a bit more to...

Re: Could we?!
Just before the match commentary on Tuesday, Radox were discussing the demise of the speedway stadium. In view of Lenagans comments about looking at alternative venues, I did wonder if that was big enough for conversion, or as a temporary measure. I'm sure someone will tell me. 'Not fit for purpose...

YESTERDAY x S RESULT x THIS RESULT ONLY GOES TO SHOW THAT THE PLAYERS AT OXFORD UNITED ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH x TIME TO GET RID OF POTTER x WRIGHT x CHAPMAN x BATT x LEVEN AND CRADDOCK...

Re: Keepers
Clarkey needs an op - out for 8 to 10 weeks. Browne seems too error prone to have any confidence in so lots of rumours on the 'other' site about a replacement including the name of Turley (Yuk). Wilder seems reluctant to blood our youngsters . I wouldn't hold my breath for Crocombe to be called up s...

Re: Wilder Out?
1. So who is going to pay off Mr Wilder's contract - you or do expect Mr Lenagan to dig even further into his pocket. It is very easy to spend other peoples money. 2. Who would you replace him with - and what guarantees can you give that they would be any better? 3. What gives you the impression we ...
