Conference Call 8....

...Will be on Sportsday on News 24 tonight at 1830, as well as BBC South Today at a similar time, and of course on the BBC website from this afternoon.

For those of you who want to see Patto and his boys in action, don't miss it!

3 minutes? Blimey. It felt longer (but I was shivering in the rain on the open terrace and desperately needing a wee!).

Duffy went off with a strop on and Hargreaves came on into midfield. Actually felt sorry for Marv because he was so isolated for the last 15 minutes. --- Wouldn't have missed yesterday's game for the world. Walking around Liverpool with an Oxford scarf getting very bemused looks from a sea of red-ny...

My concern is Smth and his negative tactics. Why we went 4-5-1 after taking the lead is anyone's guess. Why move Yemi out wide, when his pace against a slow back line was our best weapon? We had a terrible Southport team on the rack, we could of gone on to get 3 or 4, but Smith chose to conserve wha...

Really got the impression on Satuday that we have turned the corner...even though I had to leave two minutes into the match (is this a record btw?) The players were (Monsieur Cliche) buzzing before kick off, the pre-match warm up was more intense than any other I'd seen, the doom and gloom I witness...

Watching Anaclet become a real attacking force since moving to right-mid has been one of the most pleasing aspects of our revival. 3 goals in 4 games (he played RB at Aldershot). What was Smith thinking of for the first 31 games?

Monsieur Cliche on TiU

I think Brian of the Beech has upped-sticks and moved to France.

The lad's done good.

11 o'clock at Iffley Road.

They win the league if they avoid defeat in any of the last 4 matches, and even then could still win it.

Youth team

Is anyone planning to go and watch the youth team hopefully/probably win the league on Saturday morning?

I can think of one against Aldershot at home too, but Burge took that.

I'm sure there are more

Of course, Mr Westley has an immpecable record regarding loyalty, as any fan of Farnborough will tell you.

I've decided not to shed any tears for him.

Agreed. Special mention too for Foster who's work and organisation in midfield was amazing.

I loathed the Smith Gray combo too, until I heard Smith talking to a fan after a win over QPR. He said that they'd been told to go and and kick Gavin Peacock and various other west London pretty boys all over the park, then give the ball to Joey. The next match, I really watched them, and lo! That's...

I'm pleased that Jimmy Phillips is creeping in, he was class. Probably better than Powell in many ways, but Powell had that one season where he singlehandedly kept us up from left back. Bardsley was a god too, as good a replacement for Langan as you will ever get without DNA technology. Shit players...
