I concur with most of what has been said already. The balance of the squad is skewed towards defensive players, the formation is operated with a defensive mentality and yesterday we even had defensive players in supposedly more attacking positions and to cap it all two more defenders on the bench, r...

The performance tonight was OK. Main plus point was the fact that we didn't go to pieces after we conceded a goal. Most concerning thing was the lack of clear-cut opportunities being created, especially in the second half, when we seemed to be a lot more defensive than in the first. Before the penal...

I think we really do need to get the team back to basics. By this I mean employing 4-4-2 as that's the formation most players are most familiar with and keeping as settled an XI as injuries and suspensions will allow. I do accept that our current squad is woefully thin on players who are comfortable...

Sunday Football - Sandman Reserves
Apologies if this is in the wrong bit of the Forum: A team I play for on Sunday mornings, Sandman Reserves, is struggling for players for the forthcoming season. If you or any footballers you know would like to play for them on a regular or occasional basis, then please let me know ASAP. Sandman Res...
