Re: Season ticket prices

Sheffield United 2017/18 prices from £283 (phase 1 prices £288 - £5 online booking discount). That will be for a division higher. Anyone can pick and choose different teams to compare... It is very difficult though as you have different seats, views, renewal discounts, early birds, normal prices. C...

Re: Season ticket prices

Anyone can play those sort of games with stats Slappy. Pick and choose a season to show a particular stat. How much was a season ticket in 1948? And anyone can pick and choose who to compare with. Fulham season ticket prices are from £299 for an adult next year. That's a division higher than us and ...

Re: Season ticket prices

And we lost the early bird prices last season so it is really even worse. Not all that impressed. Given that it will be Eales that benefits financially from an increase in the value of the club if we get promoted, it should really be Eales risking more of his money. I'm going to have a look at the s...

Re: centurians

Excellent season in my view. At the start I would have been happy just with avoiding a relegation battle, but to get close to the play offs, good cup runs and a trip to Wembley, not to mention a couple of top notch signings to improve the squad. Its very difficult to be anything other than happy and...

Re: Appleton OUT

I think every one of us who got nervous about our place in the Football League owes MApp an apology. He has worked wonders at our club and must be regarded up there with the likes of Jim Smith, Maurice Evans and Arthur Turner.

Wow, I find that astonishing. The feeling I get is that we don't shoot enough!

Where did you find that stat Neil?

Re: Contracts

I can't be bothered to find the OM link, but Long signed a new contract a few weeks ago. I generally agree with all of this. Maguire put himself in the shop window quite publicly last summer, and there seem to have been no better offers. Perhaps the same will happen this year. Raglan has looked cla...

Re: Contracts

Yes, I was assuming loan for Martinez. With DE going through an expensive divorce or so I am told, its not surprising he is looking to share out or ship out his funding of the club. I get the feeling he is hooked to OUFC though, so I hope he is looking for investors rather than buyers. And it is the...

Re: Contracts

Lundstram is ooc at the end of the season, although the club have a 1 year option, and I can't imagine they wouldn't implement it. Surely the club will try to offer a longer deal. Martinez should definitely be signed if we are able to do so. His improvement in his short time with us has been excelle...

Re: Chairman's Programme Notes v Scunthorpe

"Owners come and go..." My turn. Come on Myles, you're an intelligent chap, that's a silly comment. Owners that progress the club as Eales has done do not come and go. Eales is by a very wide margin, the best chairman and owner of OUFC ever. Bar none. OUFC are now a proper football club, ...
