Loved the quotes from David Gold: &quotWe are making history,&quot he told BBC Sport. &quotThe Premier League, which is the greatest league the world has ever known , is being adventurous. &quotIt is looking forward and is looking to take an English brand global. The idea is very wor...

Official site says his contract was cancelled allowing him to find another club during the transfer window. Why would you allow your contract to be cancelled if there was a possibility another club wouldn't pick you up? He can't have had his contract paid up because the official site says his depart...

I'm sure one of the loanees said they were fine to play in the FA Cup - all to do with getting as much game time as possible. From the sound of it, we could do worse than start with at least one of them on Saturday, but I don't go to games so I don't really know. Certainly the possibility of Twigg b...

Are my eyes deceiving me or has the story on the original link changed from its original wording? No longer any mention of EU fans swelling the attendance etc. A case of history rewriting itself perhaps...

Couldn't decide whether this is exactly the type of game we need right now, or exactly the type of game we don't need, and eventually opted for the latter. Even if we do lose, I think it will be a small blip on the glorious journey that Patto is taking us on, and at least there'll be a decent crowd.

Without wishing to come on all TiU, I was pro-Patto before Friday and already I have seen nothing to dissuade me that his appointment was, in fact, the correct one. Most of all it's his positivity that I find refreshing. Listening to the commentary on RadOx I found myself thinking when we got the pe...

First the worst, second the best! Jim goes... I think! One of the longest weeks of my life, and the longer it's gone on the more concerned I've become that the club is happy to have left it this long before doing anything. Starting to wonder if anything really is going to happen. Shouldn't there hav...

I'm pro-Patto too. As I commented a while ago, I don't think the guilt-by-association thing is fair. If Jim is picking the team at the end of the day, then surely that will undermine much if not all of the work that Patto does on the training ground. I've not really understood how he's gone from man...

Re:

Typical Jim White, never had a good word to say about Oxford United. Whether or not The Manor was &quotthe worst venue ever to host top-flight football&quot it certainly isn't true that every corner was crumbling in '86, we'd just had half the Osler Road redeveloped into 3 small stands. And...
