Re: Summer news
I'm not convinced the club's arguments stand up to much scrutiny. They could easily have bought the off the shelf shirts and applied the badges and embroidery themselves. Its not as if we don't have an owner with a major international clothing business, and so costs would have been tiny and sales p...

Re: Summer news
This "replica" shirt thing is a scandal. The club could easily have teamed up with Toffs to produce a proper replica, in the correct material and colour with the correct badge on. Hot cakes they would have sold like. No need for limited editions. Instead the club has created its own PR dow...

Re: Another loss...
After largely dominating the first half, we completely crumbled in the second. That’s all I can be bothered with for a match summary, we all pretty much know what else I would write. Yes this was only the CheckATrash Trophy, but we did put out a very strong side, and most playing were in the squad a...

Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum
https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/16968271.oxford-university-now-looking-after-kassam-stadium-pitch/ So we now have the University back maintaining the pitch at the stadium. There are hints at the stadium dispute between OUFC and Stadco, but no real clues. It seems odd to change mid-season, perhap...
Not top
Ouch!
That hurt hitting the bottom of the table, with Plimuff winning at home.

Re: Robinson Out
It’s a failure of recruitment and a failure of the system with the available players, and a failure of coaching. Line 10 We’ve not resolved the full backs for a couple of seasons, ergo our defence is weakened and extra pressure is on the centre backs, which will inevitably cause errors. Line 20 We’v...

Re: Robinson Out
Oh my that was painful. It wasn't as if LooTown were any good themselves. It was embarrassing. The deliberate time wasting was awful, and because of the time wasting, they had enough time to create two clear cut chances, one of which they had a goal disallowed and one of which they scored the winner...

Re: Robinson Out
I was wondering about that statement too (and the bit about 'numerous players allegedly very unhappy with KR'). According to Robinson the players love playing for him (at least I think that's what he's trying to say): “I think if you spoke to any of these players they would tell you they’re coached...

Re: Robinson Out
Cameron Norman being forced to train with the kids I believe you, but is there a source for this? Disgraceful if so (and if based on performance alone rather than attitude etc). He's been a bit inconsistent, but he was MoTM against Burton and has looked far better at RB than McMahon. I was wonderin...

Re: Robinson Out
we are in profit from our transfer dealings in the summer. If only we were. Any profit has been trousered by the previous owner... Part of the sale price though wasn't it so to be expected. My point (poorly expressed) was that when you take in more money in transfers than you pay out it generally w...

Re: Robinson Out
Myles is correct. Part of the deal to ensure Eales got his money, was that income from transfers goes to Eales first, until he has been paid off.Myles Francis wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:19 pmIf only we were. Any profit has been trousered by the previous owner...

Re: Robinson Out
It would be bonkers to appoint a new manager during the middle of a takeover, unless both the existing and prospective owners were in agreement. Otherwise you'll just get yet another short term appointment. If KR is to be sacked, AND if there is a takeover in the offing, we would have to have a care...
