GY welcome to the party - I don't think the Conference will give you a straight answer. Several others have asked the same questions over the last few months without ever getting a yes/no answer. The closest so far is from the BBC site Lee happy statement "He added that he has been told by the C...

Just remembered one of the other questions asked Fighting fund for players / transfers Fan asked whether the club considered setting up a fund to which fans could donate for players wages / transfer fees. A quiet muttering in front of me of "Oxvox have already done this ..." Club acknowledge...

I made notes of the powerpoint and what was said and what I scribbled down was "WPL stands by loans - taken no interest". As you say, it doesn't really clarify whether interest is being charged but not paid, or not accrued and not paid. If they had said paid or charged I would have written t...

A few additional notes to add to what Boris wrote I have tried to take out what has already been said:- WPL loans The WPL investment was supposed to be £2.25MM plus 750K over 3 years. It is now closer to £5MM in total. six to nine months ago the club had just 3 weeks of finances left at which point ...

Re:

i thought that they just don't relegate so many teams from whichever league is affected. so if 2 teams folded right now in league 2, then there would be no relegations this season. But i'd have to check the FA rules in more detail. mid-season I think they just continue on. page 506 of the FA rules ...

Re:

My understanding is that the general rule within non-league circles has changed in the last year or two towards including the 6th (and if necessary 7th, but no lower) placed clubs rather than award byes. Correct The FA rules on Step 1 of the National League say that "in exceptional circumstance...

The Conference have already changed their procedures (some months ago I think) so that teams get sent a list of registered players and the number has to go on the team sheet. What would have happened if any team found they had an unregistered player on their books? - they submit a late registration?...

What also seems to have happened is the relevant rule and its application to substitutes is now different to when I asked the FA about it. Version 1 - what the FA told me... Any Club found to have played an ineligible player in a match shall have any points gained from that match deducted from its ...

I can now understand Brian Lee's response about points gained on the pitch / not lost in the committee room. The point f) in the Oxvox et al. letter was to say that "points should be won and lost on the field of play and not in a committee room. " Lee is obviously saying (well it is obvious ...

I doubt the club can publicly criticise the Conference as they would get in even more trouble. A bit like when a manager criticises the ref and then gets in trouble with the FA.

I'm starting to realise how all postings on RO are pun-derived wherever possible, so shouldn't this read no more James Foster given the thread title, or am I missing something :?:
