Bees sting

I was determined to enjoy Saturday for what it was - a one-off free hit in a proper cup tie against higher league opposition. And a day out in London at one of my favourite football grounds to boot. And we did ok, I thought, without ever really threatening to win the game. Defensively we looked much...

Re: Robinson Out

Well, there were very few comments here during our good run - five home wins in a row. I wondered if the forum was closing down. Well i can only comment on games I’ve seen, and indeed posted my thoughts on the Gillingham game, midway through our run of home wins. If you were at the others, why didn...

Re: Robinson Out

Not that it will make any difference. Amazingly there are more rotten things at the club than him. But still. Robinson Out.

Robinson Out

Unequivocally, he has to go. That’s a relegation team if ever I saw one. Completely unacceptable performance. No fight, no teamwork. And the fact Robbo and the coaches went straight down the tunnel while sending the players to face the ire of the fans.

Just go now.

Re: You're winding me up!

It is, frankly, completely bizarre that we cannot pay our bills when such ridiculously high net worth individuals have joined our board in the last 6 months. If they're not going to contribute to the financing of the club, they need to come out and explain just what the fuck they're doing here. Also...

Re: Just how desperate for a striker are we???

Luke McCormick was accepted into the club - and what he did was much worse IMHO. I don’t agree with that at all. Of course the consequences of what McCormick did were much worse, but in essence he made a stupid, one-off mistake - one which many people make. We’ve had plenty of players convicted of ...

Re: Gilly golly gosh

The footballing Gods of Plymouth Argyle ! How are they doing these days? December 2017: Pep Clotet’s OUFC 0 Wigan Athletic 7 (SEVEN) Not really sure what either of those points have got to do with Saturday's performance or our current league position to be honest. But I'd take an occasional spankin...

Re: Gilly golly gosh

Why would anyone pay money for Nelson in Jan when they can get him for free in the summer? Is he going to transform any of those teams in the second half of the season? On today’s showing I’d say no. Sorry, but today was rubbish. Of course the three points were important but if that’s what passes fo...

Re: You're winding me up!

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, one winding-up order might be regarded as carelessness, but two (in the space of six months) becomes a rather different kettle of fish. The first was blamed on the ownership transition (ie Eales didn't sort it out) but this one must be entirely of Tiger's own making. I kno...

Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum

I did go to the fans forum and amongst some of the chaff, there were some nuggets of hope. - The realisation (albeit post-due diligence phase) that FK will not sell to them unless for megabucks is refreshing. It normally takes an owner 4 years to reach this conclusion and so Tiger has saved himself...

I don't remember Us ever losing from 3-0 up, though I do remember Us winning from 3-0 down: https://www.rageonline.co.uk/mainpage/fixture/1985-11-23/ That Torquay game is the only other time I remember Us giving away a 3 goal lead, though I might well be wrong. Wasn't that one of our Setanta games?...

Re: Gas

I see that the trouble last Saturday has caused the kick-off time of our home game on 29th December to be moved:

I'm very surprised there was only one arrest given the numbers involved in the clashes under the noses of police.
