Re: Hemmings

Ah ok. So does that mean there's no way we can add to the squad between 1st September and 1st Jan? Surely there's some way round it (like a player cancelling their contract at one club then signing as a free agent for another)? Or is that against the rules too? I believe you could only sign someone...

Re: Hemmings

So are we not getting another striker in? If Thomas or Obika are injured it's James Roberts up front? It would have to be Obika AND Thomas injured, as we only play one up front. Though I guess you need someone to come off the bench. What if Payne gets injured/suspended? I guess GVK or Hall could fi...

Re: Appleton IN

If Appleton was a good manager he should be able to get a team with a mid table budget into the play offs. This has been my thought of the day. Surely Appleton should be looking at what Alexander and Rosler achieved at Scunny and Fleetwood respectively last season and backing himself to do similar,...

Re: Hands up!

No one cared about the cup last year until we played the Scum and then got to the semi final/final. This is the one statement in the whole debate that pisses me off more than any other. Speak for yourself. I always enjoyed matches in this competition, only missing one game in the run last year and ...

Re: Stadium matters

http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/14790066.Talks_under_way_to_sell_Kassam_Stadium/ I think this brings up a lot of questions. Obviously there's been a fall out between Eales and Firoz, but why is Firoz's reaction to that to enter into talks with OxVox? Do OxVox really think this is going to happen, ...

Re: Hands up!

A statement from the Chairman . This doesn't change the fact that every person through the turnstiles at a trophy game this season will strengthen the Football League's argument to continue with the format of this competition, which in turn would strengthen any argument to introduce B teams into th...

Re: Hands up!

So it's Slumdon, Chelsea B and Exeter we've been handed in the "draw", which didn't seem to be broadcast or streamed anywhere. Has anyone heard of an offical OUFC fans boycott or comment from OxVox yet?

Re: Brighton

It wasn't very good, but losing 5-1 at Court Place Farm 3 years ago wasn't very good, and in the first game of that season we won 4-1 at Fratton Park, so I'm not going to lose too much sleep. In Appleton I trust.

Re: Gutted...

Gutted to see Hylton leave, and I can't understand why some people are confident he couldn't have been an important player in League 1 given the amount of times he tore up L2 defences this year, especially in the last couple of months of the season when he was immense. I also feel a tad frustrated b...
