Re: Retained list

Well, Eastwood has signed a three-year deal , so you can update your records OR! Fantastic news, IMHO. There aren't many better 'keepers in this division. I'm pleasantly surprised as I thought he'd be gone by August. There were plenty of rumours about him being unhappy under Clotet (which Eastwood ...

If he gets sacked, and we stay up, I propose £10 each to charity.
Dan - I've made my £10 donation to the cause below - nice to support a local charity.

The Murphy Paradox...he made our midfield weak and overrun but I think he got 17 goals that season including a few beauties.

I recall about 12 of those were penalties though. He didn't score many from open play.
Don't knock that, look at our recent record.........bring back Rob Duffy!

Re: Safety Shoes

The answers will be from the group of teams which can still achieve 54 points so Oxford, Gillingham, Wimbledon, Rochdale, Walsall, Oldham. 1. Which team will score earliest goal (BBC time)? (If several score at same time they all get a point) 1pt Oxford 2. Which will score the latest goal? 1pt (sam...

Re: Going Down??

Cracking results tonight, 1 point from two home games for Oldham and Rochdale - lest we forget, these teams are in the bottom eight for a reason, they aren't very good.

We'll be fine now.

Re: Going Down??

Well actually he's wrong. We could theoretically draw one of our games and still go down. And we won't be safe at 21.35 (or even 21.45) tonight whatever happens. As to the rest of it: b) Gillingham would have to take at least two points from their last two (they haven't won since March 10th, and ha...

Re: Going Down??

Yes - he is right albeit a couple of those teams could get one less point and survive if they won one of their matches by a substantial margin or we got tonked in our two games due to goal difference.

Relegation looks very unlikely and we'll know more at 21.35 tonight.

Wigan warblings

I went last night and really quite enjoyed it. Wigan had the majority of the possession and chances but were by no means dominant. Annoying to concede so late but given that I expected nothing from the evening, I wasn't too disappointed. Good to see Nelson get 90 minutes, he and Dickie were excellen...

Re: Karl Robinson

I keep reading that Robinson talks a good game: does that mean people think he talks sense or that he could bullshit for England? After listening to him post natch on Saturday I could just visualise him kissing the badge! What's the point in bigging 'em up just a few days after proclaiming a whole ...
