Re: Godiva Boot

Presumably you'll keep an eye on this and advise accordingly as people post? Q1 itself could be the UE (note the Hat reference!) if we go for Oxford Away win! 1. Draw 2. No 3. No - Joker 4. Yes 5. Yes 6. Yes TB1. A playing sub is subbed (I was going to write pages about things Mackie won't do but I...

Re: What a let down

https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/16884200.striker-back-on-oxford-uniteds-radar-if-jamie-mackie-is-ruled-out/ I think the implication was that, while he was recovering from injury ("he's not fit yet"), Maynard could have contributed 10-15 minutes. Presumably, therefore, he could have offered more ...

Re: What a let down

I'm no Robbo fan, but I suspect he's unlikely to go now, and also that it's too late (and almost certainly too much of an upheaval at this stage) to try to get in someone else this season now. So my main hope is that we somehow stay up, and then change manager in the summer. And I'd like a Ferrari ...

Re: What a let down

I long gave up on our fans ability to assess the skills (or lack of) for a manager when a majority (including on this forum) were quite happy to see the back of Wilder - everything he has done since has shown this to be bonkers. Clotet had us about 3 points from the play offs last season and pretty...

Re: What a let down

Perhaps we should be more vocal at the home games. Robinson has had an incredibly easy ride considering his appalling tenure over the last year. But we're told and sometimes almost instructed to 'get behind the manager and the team' or it might affect the players. If we lose on Saturday, I predict a...

Re: What a let down

It's either verbal diarrhoea or he's deluded or a bit of both. Or is he trying to say, we may not get many points but we really try hard and play some pretty stuff.

Sadly I just can't see him going even if we get relegated.
