Re: Playoffs

There's a lot of this talk on the other side as well. Wycombe have just gone and won 4-1 away to a very much in-form Fleetwood side and missed a penalty to boot. They may not be pretty but they are effective. The final is also a one-off game and there's a lot of luck in football. Form from 3 months...

Re: Playoffs

Can't disagree about Woodburn. I don't remember the Sky commentators even mentioning his name until he was subbed. I didn't think James Henry really got into it either, apart from set pieces, where his balls into the box were generally very good (ooh matron!). Dickie and Elliott were massive for us...

Re: Playoffs

I fear I'm repeating myself , but I've never paid to watch football on telly and won't be starting now. I'm sure Now TV relatively affordable, but it's a matter of principle. This struck a chord with me: I'm fairly ambivalent about wanting Us to go up. What's the point having more glamorous fixture...

What chance pubs are allowed to reopen on or by the 3rd of July?
Nil. 4th July possibly if you’ve got a big pub garden where there is social distancing, won’t be many TV screens out there.

Re: Furlough

It may not be a technical issue but rather one where the bigger L1 clubs want to keep the iFollow revenues earned through their fan base on the basis that there will be many more of their fans tuning in and paying for the privilege.

Re: Freefall

Famous last words, but we *should* win at least 5 of our next 6 games, if not all of them. If we do, we are really in with a chance. Ipswich away? Three wins out of three so far which probably means we will drop points against Southend. I suppose Sunderland - Fleetwood draw and Coventry - Rotherham...
