Re:
Sorry to be a pedant Ty Cobb but we didn't wear the Watford away kit that night. We did however, wear it on a Saturday afternoon (I think in the following season) when we again lost 2-0. I think Ty is right. And yes we also wore the Watford away kit in Nov 1998. Still not convinced - has anyone got...

Grays Review
A better performance than Weymouth & Exeter (Not that this is saying much). Howard looked a solid player and Green impressed me again - not sure about Richards yet. BUT where is the width?? Murray often had the ball in the centre circle with no winger to pass to. Grays also played without wid...

Re:
Excellent. Another injury-prone player and another conference offcast to join our ranks! :P The sooner people realise we are 15th in the Conference, and, that , in the circumstances, these are decent signings, the better. Good work by Patterson in my book. Especially in getting the left back in. Qu...

Att: 5,400 with 175 away
UE: The East Stand can't take another defeat and as one seek to hang themselves with the cheap scarves they've bought, the scarves break due to poor manufacture and everyone leaves with sore ankles.

Re:
"one in one out" apparently. does this mean we don't get a new striker until another of The Six is taken? oh dear. that aside, presumably this means jeanin will be pushed up to the left wing? No it doesn't - the article states that DP is trying to bring another player in before tomo...

Noted Boris but the way I look at this is that there are a bunch of football fans 40 miles away who support 'their' local team and want an eleven-a-side. They approached us for a game and as fellow IFA members, it would have been a little churlish to refuse. As Kernow Yellow said, they aren't 'the c...

Re:
[quote="Kernow Yellow"] It's all been said before, but the way we take and 'defend' throw-ins, and take free kicks and corners, is a disgrace that would not be tolerated at Raging Fever level. quote] Sorry Jon I disagree - we tolerate this and a lot more week in week out at Raging Fe...

Re:
Is working in the English league the only criterion on which to judge success? Ramon Diaz has won the Argentine league with San Lorenzo, Brian Talbot won the Maltese league (I know, I know) with Marsaxxlox. In addition, Mark Wright did go on to manage in the English league with Chester City (twice)...
