Tragic news only 27....
When i heard the news yesterday it made me think about when he joined us...i think we were all unclear as to why he didn't get much playing time...Then he retired.
RIP Mitchell

Re: PORT VALE GAME
However you dress this up, 19th after 12 games isn't acceptable.
The question now is how long are we and the club prepared to wait to see improvement? 2,3,6 games more?

Re: Time, gentleman, please
I agree as well
6 defeats on the bounce is bad enough but the players look dejected, almost looking like they expect to concede

I believe that there will be should we lose on saturday. Even CW cant survive six straight losses.

Re: 5 in a row
I wish i knew the answers i really do.
What is clear though is that some of the players don't look at all happy (Potter,Constable to name two).
Wycombe sacked Gary Waddock after 3 defeats. I would say now that if we lose to Rotherham on saturday CW will be gone

Re: Wilder Out?
This has been my issue all along with CW, even in BSP days. We have always tried to fill our squad with loan players. I dread to think of the success rate with loanees, in fact im not even going to try and work it out. Have the players now grown tired of CW and his methods? Again i dont know but the...

We lost how much?????????/
£298,000!!!!! But for the legal dispute would have been 10k profit.
I wonder if this will lead to an offer for Beano being accepted in the coming weeks?

Adam Chapman
Its reported that Adam Chapman has rejected not one but two new contract offers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18358702 Kelvin Thomas quotes "We have made two offers to Adam, both improving his existing agreement, however Adam feels he deserves a better financial package," No...
Re: Stevenage
Shrugs Do you not think im happy with the win and the great goal i saw saturday.......and the penalty save? However it is what it is, 3 points! No more and no less. I want to look forward, i want to see us move upwards and this is why i made the comparison........... [quote="Baboo"] ...
Stevenage
Hi All On the way home this evening i heard that Stevenage had beaten Bury 2-1 at Gigg Lane. They now sit 10th in League one. I compare us with them as we came up together from the Conference. (Rightly or wrongly). Is their position false? Well i doubt it, out of all the promoted teams last season t...

Wilder IN in my view however i will make some observations here over his management over the last 2 and a bit seasons. We went up via the lottery of the play offs, one has to ask that if the result had been a York win would he still be here? Has we not have been promoted it would have been a disaste...
Leaders
Some interesting blogs doing the rounds at the moment and after saturdays point it made me wonder if we do have any stand out leaders on the pitch currently?
Beano? Wright? Clarke? Not for me, the last one for me was Murray

Wilder
Do you think Wilder would go, or should go if we dont get a minimum of a play off spot next season?
I think he would for no better reason than the expectation at the club will be high. I can also see that if we dont get off to a good start (Top 8 after 10-12 games) then the pressure will be on.

Summary of 2010/11
The dust has now settled on our first season back in the League. Im interested to find out what we really all think of our season. I always said i would be happy with consolidation but thinking back and seeing whats happened, i find myself asking "am i really"? In hindsight im disapp...
