If we do gain promotion, are we allowed to refuse (and then choose who we'd like to take our place in the land of VAR)?
Can't see the attraction of playing at a higher level. Prefer the giant killing antics which come from being a L1 side.

Re: Gilly golly gosh
Our 25th game of the season, and the first penalty that we've been awarded (I think?)!
8 games unbeaten now; 2 contrasting away games next week to hopefully take it up to 10...!

Re: OUFC Women
The organisation of the WSL seems similar to the Elite ice hockey league where clubs are invited to join based on their resources, and there is no relegation/promotion. PS Does anyone know why Oxford City Stars haven't gone up to the NIHL (South) Div 1?

It's great to see the 'Team that wouldn't die' replacing the 'Team that shouldn't be'! Looking forward to returning to the Wham Stadium next year

Re: Thank goodness that's all over
We need to hold on to Rothwell, Kane, Ledson and Hall, to name just 4, but certainly get rid of as much deadwood as possible. This has been the first season for years where I've only been to one game; Blackburn next Sat! Sounds like I've not missed much?

Re: Going Down??
Has someone got access to the stats from previous seasons? Interested to know how many points the teams finishing 21st have got each time...
Would love us to be safe before we head to Ewood Park

Re: What constitutes acceptable?
Some weeks ago I heard at least one League 1 manager state that 50 points, maybe 51, is the target figure for safety. Well we're on 53, and we're still not safe! Even Fleetwood above us on 54 can be overtaken, so it's Bury, MK and the Cobblers, plus one from 7. Would love to be able to go to Ewood P...

Re: The Runners and Riders...
I like the idea od David Unsworth, but like MApp, he probably has a home in the North West, so commuting to Oxford would be a downer. Can't believe that diCanio has even been considered! I agree with Paul Simpson, for his Oxford connection, as well as his proven record with youngsters. What about Br...
