''Should be a great spectacle for all involved. Should be a good 10000 there'' Not sure about the match being a 'great spectacle' - Pretty tense and dramatic, maybe. Most if not all OUFC fans see Wycombe as noisy neighbours and a bit of a Mickey Mouse club, tbh. It's perhaps understanderble that Wyc...

You'd have thought after the Club 'lost' around £50,000 due to the Boxing day match being pp there would have been somebody with the responsibilty of covering the pitch, but it appears not. Even for OUFC this is shockingly bad 'organisation' -especially after Kelvin Thomas was so embarrased and angr...

I think naming it after a local link is the Traditional and fair way, my choice is 'Sandford Park' -which to me sounds suave and sophisticated, unlike some of the offerings.
A Sponsors name would otherwise be acceptable, depending on who the Sponsor was of course.

I don't think the article was 'rather good' at all, it relied too much on the author 'stretching the truth' so much so it lost any credibility. From my personal experience the only people who made the group i was with feel threatened -were the Police, some of us were close to being run down by TVP's...

Well surely the simplest argument for terracing should be along the lines of..say.... build a terrace with a capacity of say, 3500 but only allow 2000 in.......and strictly adhere to this priciple With modern technology, this should be quite simple. I thought Stevenage had already pioneered this wi...

Re: wimps.
I've already given my ideas earlier in the thread. Do you really enjoy the incessant thump, thump, thump provided by some inane idiot? do you really think that it improves the atmosphere, I certainly don't, I much prefer the wit, banter and volume that a big crowd is able to produce. I thought a cr...

[quote="Snake"]“Wait until the next home match and hope it improves? I'm pretty certain that if some brave soul went against popular opinion and brought a Drum along to a home match the 'Volume' would increase, if only from the Outraged anti-drum brigade!!

Re: wimps.
I find it very odd that most people seem to have a Drum phobia, i suspect that many of these cannot think for themselves and instead go with the flow. ''They are so Non-league'' Is a popular saying, are they really? There are far Bigger Clubs Home and Abroad whose Supporters use Drums to Enhance th...
