Re: Crewe-perbole
My understanding is that Crewe knew about the positive test before travelling. When they arrived at the ground, despite knowing about that positive test, several of their team entered the stadium and worse still, entered our dressing room. If those are indeed the correct facts, I can well see why so...

Re: Trouble with a drunk coach
I had the same problem with iFollow. 27 minutes of the match lost.
Much improved performance from the Us though.

Re: L'éléphant dans la pièce
I think many of us are in fairly negative places at the moment, even if many won't admit it. My thoughts are primarily about how our country, population and living standards will survive first and foremost. Without a vaccine, and with many people not taking the pandemic sufficiently seriously, the s...

Had I intended that, I would have got it wrong anyway!Kernow Yellow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 12:17 pmNo. I thought you'd just neglected to pluralise the noun and agree the adjective (les chats noirs)!OtmoorYellow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 10:41 am Qu'est-ce que c'est??

Utter rubbish from the Us. Not seen us play that poorly for a long while. We were 2nd best in every position and 2nd best in most challenges. The diamond clearly did not work with a massive hole in midfield and the front 2/3 more or less cut off from the rest of the team. We just did not compete on ...
Re: Cup out
It was bad enough not being able to break down Lincoln's double decker bus park. In truth it was much more difficult to swallow the defeat against Watford because we created so many top notch chances. Shooting over the bar from 6 yards out with a virtually open goal to aim at, hitting the post at le...

Re: Dickie Heads
The pick up in our play was down to personnel changes. I wouldn’t worry about the first half. That will never be our starting line up, and Robbo was just trying out different combinations. For me, when our best XI was on the field, in all the pre-season matches, we have competed like a Championship ...

Waiting for the away kit design.

Re: Salary cap 2020/2021
I don't see how a flat player wage cap can work. A wage cap is essential across football, to maintain stability in clubs, but It needs to be on a proportion of defined turnover. By defined turnover, I mean ticket sales, sponsorship, catering, marketing and commercial sales, merchandise, concessions ...

Re: Where are they now?
Jamie Mackie has now retired.
100% commitment always, and a few very good goals for us.
Sensible decision at the right time really.

Hats off to you all for thinking about next season. I'm still processing the grief of Wembley.
Re: M40
Wycombe will be straight back down. What a wasted opportunity. That was like an early round in the FA Cup against a Conference side. They just shoved everyone behind the ball. Awful to watch. We had all the possession, created all the chances. Yet the age old issue of not putting the ball in the net...
