Re: Retained list
So who does that leave that is still under contract? Eastwood Mousinho Dickie Ledson Ruffels Carroll Brannagan Henry Napa Obika Anyone else? What about Kelleher? I note he hasn't been mentioned in the same way that Raglan and Hemmings have. Speaking of which, I'd rather keep Wes Thomas than Kane He...

Re: Going Down??
I dont really, I’m not keen on Wimbledon, the hipster hoofers! It's more that it would be very apt that those who tried to get ahead by stealing a football club ended up a division below those who reformed that club from nothing. Whether one likes the way AFC Wimbledon play has little to do with it...

Re: Retained list
So, are Hemmings and Raglan still under contract then? Hemmings seems to have been around for ages. Both have contracts until 30/6/19. KR has got it about right, although I wouldn't be disappointed to lose Mousinho, Hemmings and Obika as well. All have contracts to 30/6/19 though, so paying them of...

Re: Thank goodness that's all over
With Mousinho, perhaps a little depends on his influence on the dressing-room. I was impressed by how he took control of the penalty on Saturday. Given that Kane took one as well, I suspect this was more down to goal scoring bonuses, than any heroism. If you were in charge of goal-scoring bonuses, ...

Re: Thank goodness that's all over
I expect, and hope for, a big clear out. Whilst we must try to hang on to Lego and Rothwell, I suspect clubs further up the ladder to wave cheque books at them. Hall has already indicated a desire to stay, and I hope that comes true. Ricardinho I think, and hope, will stay on reduced terms. He may b...

Re: Wigan warblings
Interesting that Wigan's principal attacking tactic was a diagonal lump from Dunkley towards their inside left... and much of their frustration was borne of Rob Dickie winning virtually every resultant header (and Nels or Kane clearing up when he didn't). Last chance for me to see the boys before t...

Re: Wigan warblings
I went last night and really quite enjoyed it. Wigan had the majority of the possession and chances but were by no means dominant. Annoying to concede so late but given that I expected nothing from the evening, I wasn't too disappointed. Good to see Nelson get 90 minutes, he and Dickie were excelle...

Have a try with this predictor table:
https://thefishy.co.uk/calculator0.php?Competition=3
I have us being safe on 52 points (draw v Sarfend, draw v Donny, win v Dale).

Re: Going Down??
No offence taken OY - I hope you're all better now. I've actually agreed with much of what you've written of late (not very interesting to just post something saying I agree though!) but I do think that although under Pep we had some shocking performances, we also had some quality ones as well - Pb...

Re: Going Down??
The rewriting of history by those on here who wanted Pep out is reaching ridiculous levels. The way we played against Fleetwood was the best we have played since September/October? Really? Losing one nil at home against a team that has struggled all season had a better performance than: - Pboro 1 -...

Re: Going Down??
The Oldham result (and performance) on Saturday was a hammer blow to our relegation fight. The Fleetwood result (despite the performance) on Tuesday was like a kick (with run up) to the plums. If we do go down, and I desperately hope we don't, I have huge confidence in Robinson to get us back up at ...

Re: Big pile of poo-sbury (not really)
Interestingly I watched the game on Good Friday with a friend of mine who has played over 350 professional games of football in the last 15 years. Watching the game with someone who has actually played it is amazing. There was a point where Ledson ran down the Scunny goalie and got a round of appla...
