Re:

No mention of the Olly failed drug test there, snake. My sources indicate that it was merely over-zealous use of an anti-BSE vaccination... I heard that the issue was one of gender and very similar to the Caster Semenya case. As we all know an Ox is a castrated bull and apparently Olly was found to...

Re:

Mally, I thought that application had been withdrawn last month ? I didn't realise the original application had expired but now see that it has and the extension application was withdrawn. Strange - do we know why? Just guessing - economic conditions. If the existing hotel doesn't get full, why was...

Re:

A few observations. The problem with having a full time steward (and staff) is that the establishment will need to be open all of the time which isn't going to be possible with the conversion of a room within the stadium and the Quadrangle isn't an option as it is used for conferences. I was a long...

Re: Back On Old Territory!

'Tis my honour and pleasure to set the first Boot of the new campaign for the game at Burton. For those new to the forum, your answers should be posted as a reply to this thread prior to 2.00pm on Saturday . 1. Name the first Oxford player to be substituted. 2. Name the first Oxford player to come ...

UE - Burton fans sing &quotWe fucked your party up&quot at Oxford fans. Actually thinking about it the first three words would be pretty unusual anyway!

How ridiculous.

There's no way we'd turn down the bid.

When it comes to footballers capabilites I'd trust Chris Wilder's judgement over any web site editor or contributor. Anyway even if it tuns out he can play better elsewhere it's not the end of the world he can slot in deeper. After all he's being brought in as a backup option - we're hardly building...

Re:

Birmingham fans are a nasty bunch. The only two occasions that I remember feeling properly threatened by away fans at the Manor were by Brummies. And St Andrews was always extremely unwelcoming - made worse by that horrible walk from New Street station. I suppose it depends on how old you are and w...

Which was the Birmingham game where one of their fans climbed up the floodlight pylon at the Cuckoo Lane end? That was certainly mid to late 90's.

Headington is quite big so to wander past it would take a long time. Wandering through Headington however, where the start or finish may be within Headington, could be a much shorter walk. Simples!

My guess is we'll need at least two more strikers throughout the season but I don't think there's any great urgency at the moment. We have 3 &quotforward&quot positions to fill under Wilder's chosen formation and as others have said we've got 7 or 8 players to mix and match from in these pos...
