Duffy looked reasonably OK at holding the ball up with his back to goal but didn't do anything at either Didcot or Eastleigh to convince me he could actually get in the box and score.

IMHO we still need to find/sign a 20 plus goals a season striker.

Go on add me in too, particularly seeing as I appear to be the only person who can calculate the VAT on the sponsorship money based on last night's events.

What are you ging to do with the shirt at the end of the season? Cut it into small pieces and share it out?

Yes Dale was the first half striker and he looked completely out of his depth. Not only did he mis some great chances infromt of goal he constantly gave the ball away and didn't seem to know where he should be at times. I thought Eddie Anaclet had a very good game and I was impressed to see the full...

Short Sponsor

Is it only me who thinks the photo on the home page announcing the short sponsor is a bit -how shall I put it - a bit on the purvey side. Middle aged men photographed with the rear end of a young female model would probably be best advised to keep their hands to themselves. I'm sure the good &qu...

I have to agree with Myles - who cares. Isn't voting &quotnot interested&quot on such a poll a bit contradictory?

According to the OM they've already passed last years total sales of 2200 and expect to sell another 400 before Saturday's (revised) deadline. Portly is looking favourite to lift the boot but with a last minute surge myself or DLT would be fighting it out.

Wierd - When I go there I just get a blank page. When I go to the squad section its up to date with the new signings though. If anybody else is having this problem I solved it by allowing pop-ups for the site in the google pop-up blocker. I can now see the fixtures (including the ones on Sundays th...

Re:

The BBC claim that there was an undisclosed fee involved. I wonder how much we had to pay Torquay to persuade them to take that stinking heap of horseshit off our hands? (I didn't rate him, by the way.) I wonder who voted scrapheap in the poll? Wasn't ever going to set the world alight but I though...

Where are you looking at these fixtures? I can't see any on the official site other than in the news section. England play Greece on 16th August (a Wednesday) not September. The first Saturday game for England is 2nd September hence the St Albans game being on the Friday. Same goes for Forest Green ...

The fixture list seems to be quite god for us at first glance. August bank holiday Monday on the coast at Weymouth (apart from the traffic a damn sitebetter than Weymouth in February). Also Morecombe in early September will hopefully be a good weekend by the sea. Hopefully promotion willbe in the ba...

The way I understand the conference rules if true aout Deano this would give us £125,000 extra to spend NEXT year. Hopefully we won't be in the conference next year though.
