Re: When do we start panicking?

I remember Appleton slagging off the fans too - something about 'white noise' wasn't it? And also falling out with some players around the time we got humped by Cambridge. But he was supported unequivocally from above, and given the backing to make changes and bring players in (and ship others out)...

Re: Mousinho

I'm more worried about the Man City loanees. What do they contribute? Is the full back a specialist? Is the winger a winger? Agree - these two loanees are not doing it. Is it me or are there startling similarities to what happened to United in Feb/March 2006? Months of protracted take over speculat...

Re: Wow

Now, that really was a special, special performance. To overcome the loss of Thomas before KO; to lose Obika, who was having a great game up front on his own Agree about big Jon Obika - he was doing great on his own up front and was unlucky with the 25 yard strike that struck post and crossbar. I n...

Re: Pep Booted

OUFC4eva: are you (or anyone else) able to enlighten us any further without breaking confidences? Losing the dressing room would seem to be a logical part of this. I can imagine Eales will have kept close enough to the players (or Faz or Chrissy?) to be aware of anything which was going down. Can’t...

Re: Pep Booted

I don't believe this can be for purely football reasons. We're having our best season (in terms of average league position) for about 20 years and I very much doubt we've got an 'automatic promotion' budget, so Pep was hardly massively underperforming, especially when taking key injuries into accou...
