Some crusty oik has just been on BBC News 24 saying there is too much greed in the world.

I think he needs to get his priorities right - our 5 point deduction was serious for heaven's sake.

Furthermore - it is a lovely sunny day today, so why change our climate ?

Personally - no. The whole 5 points thing is gone forever and whatever the injustice, telling the Conference administration what we think of their pitiful behaviour is a waste of effort because you just won't win. Look at the competene of the administrators at the highest levels of the game - Blatte...

I've never rated Morison - I think he is lazy and his workrate is shocking : poor comparison to Constable. Hardly surprising a league club hasn't snapped him up. Although there is probably still time for Peter 'I used to manage England, you know, so don't try telling me the wheels have come off my p...

Relax !

When we had just been dicked by Histon back in November, and were 17th in the table, we would all have settled for going into the last 5 weeks of the season with the faint glimmer of a play off place !

He did, but both your post and his are full of the kind of data that will keep me amused for ages.

I love all this stuff.

Take a bow, both of you.........

Re:

Anyone else remember singing &quotWe can see you sneaking in&quot as the first of the locals sheepishly made their way onto the Alex terraces to be greeted with a packed and buoyant away end? Still probably the best away experience of my Oxford supporting life. My missus loved it as well. H...

Re:

Having forgotten to do the Grays prediction and us getting a decent result, and the fact that I did something similar last year to reasonable effect I'm going to hold off predictions for a while and see how we go. I'm not flouncing off, I'm trying a scientific experiment. I really need to sort out ...

It might - I am a bit impatient, I'm afraid. I didn't think much of Farrell in his first couple of games but I am warming to him now, so - on mature reflection - I ought to give Sandwith a bit more time.

But not much, eh ?

Good summary, Matt. It seemed to me that in the absence of Foster, the defence didn't appear to be clear what their individual roles were, and I just wonder whether FGR would have had as much space for their first and second goals if Fozzie had been there. But he wasn't, because of his indiscipline ...

I can't really remember how this debate started - it was something to do with kids kicking the back of your seat or similar. For what it is worth, I think the cost of my ticket represents excellent value. You can throw statistics around about attendances and rises in prices but I would suggest that ...

Fourth officials

From my unique vantage point in South Stand (Lower) I have concluded that 4th officials add no value. This was especially true last weekend when the 4th official had the opportunity to compensate for an 'Assistant Referee' who was even more inept than the actual referee.

Discuss.

Presumably the statement 'You're Welsh - and you know you are !' doesn't apply in this particular instance.

Not that I am intending any derogatory comment about the Welsh, he adds hastily for fear of being sacked from the One Show, Radio 2 or whatever.

Good idea.

I think it is really funny and clear proof that money doesn't buy lasting success in this game.

Mark Hughes will be next, mark my words.

I'm small-minded, me.
