Re:

Clist definately MOM for me today and Matt Green and Bulman not far behind. Not too impressed with Sandwith or CC and Fozzie needs a rocket in which ever aperture is appropriate. What is the point of Kevin Sandwith ? Scoring a goal at Kettering is a start. OK - I don't want to grizzle or appear con...

Re:

If we can get 4 points from our next couple of fixtures I'll be absolutely delighted. Well, I'm absolutely delighted. I think. Would anyone who has been to either of our last two games care to comment on them at all? Much appreciated. Clist definately MOM for me today and Matt Green and Bulman not ...

A welcome return to the pedantry that sets this forum apart from inferior versions.

Sufficiently short term to iron out departure terms for Mad Dog, I wonder ?

I can't wait for tomorrow evening's game.

I'm all excitable like a small child waiting for Christmas morning.

I know all about misplaced optimism during pre-season - but I just can't help it.

I should buy that but I'm going to have to get the company to pay for it.
Good idea - put it on expenses. That's what everyone else does....

Andy Crosby - the last decent captain we had. A man of authority and leadership.

Discuss.

Because it isn't a rumour but a hard fact ?

Perhaps we should start a 'Transfer Hard Facts' thread. It would save wading through 'wishful thinking'.

Quinny is a victim of that syndrome, but - unemotionally - his time was probably up.

I wonder whether Sammy will get a decent crack of the whip ?

Dead right. SSL is fine - I think you get a more sophisticated level of 'terrace humour' there as well. I mean - for goodness' sake - you can't buy a ticket for the London Road End and then moan about the language. If you go to Anfield you hear ghastly songs about Munich and if you go to Old Traffor...

Looks like a genuine apology to me.

A wholly unnecessary one to boot - especially when you consider the disgraceful bile that regularly spews out of the snaggle-toothed mouth of one Mr Steven Evans.

But perhaps two wrongs don't make a right.

Re:

As I stood at the front of the London Road yesterday, all I could think was: &quotI don't want to ever bring my son here and subject him to this.&quot It's a shame, a huge shame, because I'd love my lad to support Oxford as opposed to a Premier League team. I agree wholeheartedly with your ...

The stewarding was and is woeful.

Yet - if you are over 50 and try to have a nip from a hip flask on a freezing January day, as if by miracle, stewards are all over you like a rash, waving ground regulations in your face.

A curious sense of priorities.

3 - all the teams above us play a couple of unregistered players twice this weekend and - as if by a miracle - it is spotted by the Conference first thing next Tuesday morning.

Whoops - sorry that should go in the 'hat' section as an UE.
