Wang L1 Replica Shirt

Hello all I kindly got one of the L1 1980s Wang shirts for Xmas, that was released earlier this year. They are - erm - rather ‘ambitious’ in their sizing and I have (and usually am) a Large but it is coming up rather small on me. Does anyone on here have an XL version which might be too big for them...

Man City

What would you do tomorrow, given the importance of Sat’s game vs Wycombe?

Wed night warning

I am led to believe that the cinema at the Kassam has a sold out showing of the latest Star Wars film at 6.30 meaning there will be an additional 1,100 people in the cinema / at the ground at that time.

You may want to 'use the force' and manage your travel plans accordingly...

Re: Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

Does winning a trophy count as ‘undefeated’ in a season? If so we went on an undefeated run in the league cup in 1986 which we are yet to better.

Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

I couldn't make the game at the weekend, Jerome. However, I do like reading the thoughts of those that have been... yet I wonder if we are now at the point where even a 4-0 away win, at a ground we've not won at since 2003, doesn't even have Us rushing to our keyboards to gush about the team...? or ...

Re: Play up Pompey

Id always want the majority of home matches to be full of as many home supporters as possible. And as an away fan, I’d expect that too.

I’m also not sure how much financial benefit there is to the club of supporters of any denomination spending money in and around the Kassam...

Re: Play up Pompey

Didn't you know leagues don't count until at least 10 games in! And RR - we can manage as it is, but even this season we will be turning down away fans who want to attend our ground. A small stand for 2000 behind the goal would cover most away fans, allow us to sell more in North Stand if needed, b...

Re: Play up Pompey

In the 2006/7 season (where I managed every game thanks in part to a record company expense account and the 'need to discover artists in unusual places' such as Lewes and Weymouth... or that's at least what I told my bosses...!) we didn't lose for 19 games in a row. The result? Nothing. We didn't go...

Re: Cup draw

With the prize being a semi final of 2 legs, I’d take Colcheter at home- winnable and then we’d get 2 matches against a Prem League side.

Re: Scoring in the Rain

Gorrin was the MOM for me. The man seems to have 61 seconds in every min. He didn't leave anything untouched and went for every single ball, first time, second time and sometimes even the third time. It is easy to pick out 'key' players in our team, but I really think he is the one who would hard to...
