Re: Big pile of poo-sbury (not really)

Interestingly I watched the game on Good Friday with a friend of mine who has played over 350 professional games of football in the last 15 years. Watching the game with someone who has actually played it is amazing. There was a point where Ledson ran down the Scunny goalie and got a round of applau...

Re: Karl Robinson

Looking like some light at the end of the tunnel here... our first manager born in the 80s. How old does that make you feel?!

Karl Robinson

If I had any money, I'd put it on Karl Robinson.

What's scary is that he is a YEAR YOUNGER than me. I hope he'll be better at saving us from Div 2 then he looks at saving himself from Type 2...

Re: Tiger

Tiger has one hurdle to jump before he even starts: Evans has left Mansfield; I do hope this has NOTHING to do with Oxford United or else he will be off to a terrible start... ;)

Re: Tiger

In honour of our glory days and our chairman, I've put on loads of weight and started smoking cigars. If I die falling off my yacht, I'll go happy... maybe in a bowtie if Tiger gets us back to the Maxwell glory years... (yes, this post is loaded with irony. but i do smoke cigars. and i am over weight)

Re: Tiger

Indeed I have a client who is one of the richest people in the world, and his nickname is an Animal (well, a mythical one actually) and all his staff call him by that name. If it is good enough for business people in Asia, it is good enough for me. As for his look: I suspect that if we have success ...

Tiger

So, we have a new Chairman. Don't quite know what to say other than it will hopefully steady the ship. As with all appointments, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. So, let's see what the Year of the Tiger had to offer us as supporters.

Re: When do we start panicking?

I'm not sure 'Tiger' needs a FAPP test. He used to own part of Reading so would have an existing one from that deal.

Did not like hearing the pre-match interview with Henry who said the players feel the club is already safe from relegation...

Re: Mousinho

2006... at least what we’d be staring at is ledge for our sh-t to land on, and not an indian railway style hole straight down onto the tracks, which is what relegation out of the league was like.

Mousinho

Is it me, or is John Mousinho utter crap? In somuch as he’s good for at least one goal against us each game.
