Only one keeper has scored for the U's, ‘Porn Star’ Pal Lundin

Re: Play up Pompey

Id always want the majority of home matches to be full of as many home supporters as possible. And as an away fan, I’d expect that too.

I’m also not sure how much financial benefit there is to the club of supporters of any denomination spending money in and around the Kassam...

Re: Play up Pompey

Didn't you know leagues don't count until at least 10 games in! And RR - we can manage as it is, but even this season we will be turning down away fans who want to attend our ground. A small stand for 2000 behind the goal would cover most away fans, allow us to sell more in North Stand if needed, b...

Re: Play up Pompey

In the 2006/7 season (where I managed every game thanks in part to a record company expense account and the 'need to discover artists in unusual places' such as Lewes and Weymouth... or that's at least what I told my bosses...!) we didn't lose for 19 games in a row. The result? Nothing. We didn't go...

Re: Cup draw

With the prize being a semi final of 2 legs, I’d take Colcheter at home- winnable and then we’d get 2 matches against a Prem League side.

Re: Scoring in the Rain

Gorrin was the MOM for me. The man seems to have 61 seconds in every min. He didn't leave anything untouched and went for every single ball, first time, second time and sometimes even the third time. It is easy to pick out 'key' players in our team, but I really think he is the one who would hard to...

Re: Hammer Time

Sadly I wasn’t at the game (Jerome), as I’m on me holidays. I picked up a hire car bang on KO at Boston airport and by the time I’d arrived in Provincetown to the hotel WiFi, three hours later, I’d had a barrage of texts off a load of mates. A great way to kick off the holiday! A quick question: Did...

Re: Bolton

A ludicrously unbalanced league. Allowing one team to play no games and another to basically turn up and get beaten before being able to strengthen their team. If we lose out on goal difference to a team that was able to beat them by 5+ goals in the first 7 games of the season then it has to be said...

Re: Bolton

Genuine question: what is the difference in situation between the situations at Bury and Bolton, other than the fact that Bolton have managed to put players (not fit for the purposes of playing in L1, as evidenced by the results and the cancellation of a game at their own request), and why have Bolt...

Bolton

Surely they have to be suspended now from the FL for the season? You can’t be postponing games because of fatigue to your players (did we try that trick with Whyte last year? No) and it if the takeover happens what is to stop them strengthening their team, meaning that clubs like Tranmere will have ...

George Thorne

According to my many DCFC friends George Thorne is an excellent player but “has the knees of an IRA informant”. I also noticed he has the same agent as KR... wasn’t it Kardiff Exile who recent wrote: “Call me old-fashioned, but I feel uneasy about our manager being represented by an agent who also r...

Re: Training Ground tour

“The pitches are like billiard tables”

I’m hoping they’ve installed one which they’ve ploughed to shit to prepare the players for those lovely L1 games in the north in Feb.

Now that would indeed be ‘leaving no stone unturned’...
