Rubbish
Having been a fan since 1955 and worked full time at the club for 6 years (so having an insiders view) may I say that I cannot quite believe the negative knee jerk reaction of many contributors. We all have high expectations -maybe a tad too high and these increased when we were 3rd and playing well...

Just back from Upton Park after a tediously long tube queue. Wonderful to be spectating in a proper stadium again and seeing proper football.... from both sides. In a perverse way glad it didn't go to extra time tho we deserved to hold on. The fans were fantastic and the singing of 'we've got a team...

I thought this was about the game at Didcot. What did the new players play like? Which of them impressed? No Rhys Day -is he injured already? Was there early evidence we have midfielders to adequately replace Murray and Chappers? I am also personally a little concerned by the lack of another good st...

No. I have little insider info these days really and even if I did i certainly would not divulge it. Wright and Kinniburgh are clearly on thje radar and i just think we need that extra goalscorer and Tubbs almost certainly will be available and does score lots of goals in a moderate side. Then again...

I feel for the young man without in any way condoning what he has done. I too was upset to witness his tears when the realisation dawned on him not only of what had been won but also of what his immediate prospects now are likely to be. My barrister daughter -who was at wembley yesterday in fact - s...

Superb analysis by GY -can't add much to that. 55 years of supporting the club and few really magic times but when they arrive its so much sweeter. 3 very good goals nad some decent passages of play under the circumstances..and when Alfie and Sam broke away it was indeed surreal. Many great performa...

Its all gone quiet on ticket sales. Anybody have any idea how many tickets have been sold by the 2 clubs? I have to say i thought we'd struggle to reach 22,000 with the prices and TV coverage but as in 86 the public have again responded it seems. Just have to win now - why is time suddenly standing ...
I agree -its a rip off. It should be a day when we take 30,000|| and show the football world what a well supported club we are and what potential we have. With it live on Sky waverers and casuals will keep the cash in their pockets, especially in these tough times. No real fan would hesitate in goin...

I don't believe we will breeze out of anywhere with anything at present. What i did say on another thread -as did Mally - is we need to start believing and hopefully this new (maybe false) confidence will transmit itself over the next 7 games to the players whose confidence is at a low ebb clearly. ...
