I have watched the penalty miss on the highlights video. The ball clearly bobbles just before Beano strikes it. These things happen. If the penalty was a horse he would now have to climb back on it.

Loved quote from LSD at the Oxford Mail site - &quotI gave the keeper the eyes, and it's just gone past the post.&quot If you can talk like a professional footballer I often feel that's half the battle.

Interesting questions, Peña. (a) No. Following OUFC was a rite of passage from my late teens (when I moved to Oxford) onwards, and I identify it with many significant times (and people) in my life. I couldn't imagine being able to replicate those 20|| years following someone else. (b) I think it wou...

I find this poll deeply insulting. I think you should apologise to a pig's head on a stick, Pe├▒a.

Has it been clarified what will happen to my memorial brick in the KassStad wall in this situation? Will it be ...

Talk about inappropriate choices of Saturday night entertainment, Mrs Foghorn selected from the dvd store what she thought would be a good movie for us to watch last night. 30 Days of Night - the best vampire movie ever, apparently. &quotIn Barrow, Alaska, seventy percent of the population of fi...

One of our alleged celebrity fans discussing Oxford's, er, &quotcontribution to the pantheon of great British Rock 'n Roll&quot on last Friday's Front Row on Radio 4. Haven't listened to it yet, but hasn't Jim White been known to show up at the odd fans' forum? I'm sure he was at one in our ...

Re: February 9th 2008 @ 15:16

That’s the exact time and date that Oxford United hit the bottom of this long term downward spiral and it will be statistically remembered as the lowest ever point in our long history. Fifteenth in the Blue Square Premier League, and facing a penalty kick at home against Histon with the score at ni...
