Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum

It's good that the council are involved, maybe? Hopefully they would be unwilling to grant any planning permission without feeling assured that ownership of a new stadium was in appropriate hands, ie not split off from the club. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here who may have some insig...

Re: Robinson Out

Since Robinson started, one striker has scored one goal (Obika vs Coventry) - I don't think any strikers scored under him last season. Which points to the issue being at least in part the system.

Re: Robinson Out

Told by whom? He hasn’t played yet, maybe we’ll want him out!

Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum

- Apropros of nothing, why do we have a disproportionate number of players represented by one agent?
And why do we seem to deal a lot with particular clubs? Mansfield, Macclesfield, Everton, etc. Is it because people know each other and are 'good lads' or is it again some sort of agent tie-up?

Re: Our Manager's disciplinary record

Well, French people are not generally seen as a different race, though our man doesn’t exactly come out of it well. All will be forgotten if we can manage couple of wins

Re: Where are they now?

Michael Doughty (we had him on trial) is posh and has a girlfriend called Anoushka. We should maybe have signed him:

Re: Where are they now?

Good to see Jefferson has been promoted! Wonder what he does?? I didn't really imagine him having a job.

Re: Coventry Blues

Interesting that there are so many more comments than usual on this game. It was a frustrating match and I hate the way we struggle to get the ball out from the goalie without a lot of indecision, delay, or Mousinho trying to dribble round people in his own box, but I'm not sure we were that terribl...

Re: Accy thump

Some really promising attacking stuff last night. They'll be fine when they've had pre-season and some of them come up to full fitness. Oh wait, you say the season has started?! It was striking how many of that team had hardly played a league game before: Mitchell, Norman, Browne, Whyte, has Smith p...

Re: When...

For years now we’ve been unable to deal with cynical bullies like Fleetwood, who succeeded in breaking up play so much that it was scarcely a football match. So nothing new there. We’re struggling with fitness and cohesion, whereas they seemed to have the same bruisers as last year. However, how can...

Re: Where are they now?

Isaac Buckley-Ricketts has left Man City to sign for Peterborough on a three year contract. That’s an interesting one. They seem to have money to burn and have either been taken for fools or have seen something in him we didn’t. I guess he will probably come good if you can afford the time to devel...

Probably 10th or 11th - but convincing and positive, rather than the pathetic outfit we were for half of last season.

Best new kit in years.

They've got the yellow shade just right. I like the collar and neck line, and it looks good with the lion on too.
I'm not sure I agree. The 'three animals' look is a bit of a design car crash, in my view. But the main logo does look good.
