Big hole in squad

Up front.

The fact that we have lower league players on trial indicates few options from more proven players.

Hope a rabbit comes out of Jim's hat next couple of weeks.

Jim Smith's is quoted as saying in the OM that 'Tardiff and Turley are the best two goalies in the lower leagues'.

If that is the case why did he bring the Italian Gelding in?

Judging by this mornings list of postings I think it might be time for a review Boris.

It must be driving you nuts.

Of course not Baboo.

I would appoint Steve Parkin with Nigel Spackman as coach.

Patterson's presence in the back ground casts a big shadow over Uncle Jim and his 'new era'.

If early results don't go well then the 'Patto would have done better' Brigade (of which I am a corporal) will bang their drums even louder if Patto is still around.

FA Folly

So why were the FA in such a rush to announce our next manager?

If it was my job to choose today then it would be Hiddink, then Scolari.

Well if I lose my cricket match before 7pm I might try and get there.

I intend to park on top of the roundabout by the science park.

Just seen a picture of Merson in today's Sun.

He looks in ideal shape for us.

Snake tells me that Jim Smith has just returned from his month long holiday.

So the rumours will start soon.

And there has been action going on. Milton's ground now has a wooden five foot fence along the road to stop the snoopers watching training.

Just read the BBC website.

Apparently Kuffour sent Atkins a text saying he would sign and then went off to Brentford to rejoin Rosenior.

Was Kuffour the tall skinny guy who played against us?

Fascinating how the predictions are beginning to slide lower down the scale as time goes on.

Is the honeymoon period ending?

Come on Sven

When will you realise that Lampard, Gerrard and Beckham don't go into the same midfield.

Actually I am convinced a two man midfield of Lampard and Gerrard will never work.

Owen had one weapon as a striker, pace, and he has lost it.

I hope we get Germany because I can't see us beating Ecuador.

Sorry that was me. Just re read it and it says 'a managerial post' not a manager's post.

Did you ever meet the wife?

35k wouldn't keep her for 6 months.
