Re: New signings

Jamie Mackie will be an experienced head to link up play in the final third.

Hope you are wrong about Kenny Jacket and that he was there to watch some of the Aldershot trialists!

Re: New signings

I went to the Aldershot friendly last night and briefly my first impressions of new signings on view were:- McMahon - steady, good dead ball player, not afraid to get stuck in even in a friendly which got the home support a bit agitated. Garbutt - quick, reads the game well, took corners with mixed ...

Re: Summer news

On the shirt front, I do think the lion should have been smaller. Surprised it has been quiet on here though regarding Mr Singha possibly taking a stake in Oxford and talking up the potential of Oxford as a global brand. I have mixed feelings about this but if it helps to get us up the pyramid I'll ...

Re: New signings

Good work getting Samir Caruthers in on a season long loan.

I think that KR can get the best out of him which will give us more energy in midfield. Probably more mobile than Lego.

He has won two promotions out of League 1 so a hattrick would be good for his CV!

New signings

Well someone had to start this thread... I have read elsewhere that we have "taken on" three young trialists but I am not sure what that means yet - anyone know? Sam Ford (striker ex Ipswich and West Ham) Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis (midfielder who appears to be at the Gas?) Micah Edwards (midfielder but...

Re: Thank goodness that's all over

Well done KR and all.

Feeling positive for next season and I trust us to sort the wheat from the chaff until harvest time around August.

An end to pointless loans, which have kept out our own young players, sounds likely.

We are due better luck with injuries next season.

COYY.

Re: The Ball and Boot

Well the last 2 entrants could have made a difference if they had played a joker but Old Abingdonian ties with Hoglette on 4 and takes it on the away attendance tiebreak.

Re: Going Down??

Not having been to the match Jerome & Doc Bob I have just enjoyed Ricardinho’s goal on the extended highlights in ifollow.

Smiled when I saw KR’s encouragement on Grand National day.
