Noticeably are not showing our goals this season.
And they are going to feature Reading this season.
Thank God for the likes of Jerome & Dan.

But if he can't defend at all we might as well have an out and out winger instead."Kernow Yellow" wrote:Anaclet's a wing-back, though, not a full back. He's there for his attacking ability.
Agree about Hargreaves - on that performance he may be worth a place in the side.

Re:
I think that until we get promoted (and back into the football media mainstream again) then we may have to ditch the ‘away crowd’ statistical part of The Hat compi, given that this number is going to be hard to find or verify sometimes. And besides, I don’t think it will be easy to get a proper cou...

Re:
Anaclet was definitely a headless chicken defensively. Seems a straight replacement for Lee mansell. He did however do one excellent bit of defending in the second half when he jockeyed an attacker all the way from the penalty area and forced him over to the touch line where we managed to win the t...

Burgess was terribly disappointing. Good management by Smith to get him off.

I think he was injured. he went into the game carrying a "slight groin strain."

Stubborn defending very much so before and after we went down to 10 men. Anaclet’s defending worried me again and when he tired he lost the ball a fair bit going forward. (Thinking back to Langy it is obvious he is a Jim Smith sort of player). On the other side Johnson got skinned a couple of times ...

Re:
i think we could see from saturday that this season is going to be no free flowing footy carnival but a grind. halifax did not ever look like scoring. we must get that extra striker. up front is our problem. don't believe ANY of our strikers are really good enough. Yemi shows promise but is stamina ...
