Pentith strikes back

Developer Nick Pentith has appealed against the decision of the High Court to refuse him leave to seek a judicial review against Oxford City Council's decision to permit Firoz Kassam's multiplex cinema application. Unlike his original application for a judicial review this one is not a paper application, but instead will be a hearing in front of a judge with both sides putting their cases. He also appears to be not following up the part of the case against the Government Office of the South East's decision not to call in the planning application. The appeal could potentially take several months to come to a conclusion, but Oxford City Council have claimed that they are not concerned by this latest potential hindrance to the development and are happy for construction to commence before the appeal is heard. It remains to be seen if Kassam is similarly unconcerned.

Another Beauchamp rumour

According to Teamtalk Joey Beauchamp is being linked with a £650,000 move to Birmingham City. On the other hand this might be like most of the other spurious stuff that appears on this site and should be believed if it happens.
