Eddie Hutchinson
Born: 1982-02-23

Edward Stephen Hutchinson, born in Kingston, joined United from Brentford in the 2006 close-season, and immediately endeared himself to Oxford fans when it was revealed that he had turned down Swindon in order to join the Us. Unfortunately, his performances failed to match the expectation, and he was transfer listed by Darren Patterson in December 2007. Hutch was the player at the centre of the non-registration debacle that led to United having five points deducted by the Conference board. Not his fault, though. He was released at the end of the 2008/09 season as part of Chris Wilder's cull.
