Jack Edward Casley, born Torquay. Headington United's first full-time professional. He signed in July 1949, initially on a one-month trial, at a wage of £6 a week plus bonuses, before signing permanently for £7 a week, plus £1 a week as groundsman. Played in goal initially but also outfield. Became a scout after he stopped playing. Died on 1st June 2014.
