Sab, born in Paris, was signed on transfer deadline day in August 2005, from Northampton, on a two-year contract. He started his career at Ajaccio, on the beautiful island of Corsica, before signing for Nimes in August 1998. After a season he left for Wasquehal, near Lille, in the French equivalent of Division Three, where he stayed for two years before his career nosedived and he found himself in no-man's-land. He wandered in the wilderness for two wasted years before being rescued by QPR. He didn't play much for Rangers, and even found himself on loan to Boston for a couple of weeks, before he joined Northampton in March 2004.

He started his Oxford career in the best possible way, scoring on his full debut in a 2-2 draw with Rushden. Initial impressions of Sabin were that he was very fast, and with a physical presence that other forwards at the club lacked. Unfortunately, and despite his two early goals, his finishing often let him down. Despite this, manager Brian Talbot indicated that he wanted to build his attack around Sabin. Won 3 caps for Martinique at the 2008 Caribbean Cup, scoring 4 goals.
