Bradie Jason Clarke, born Cambridge, signed from Reading to be United`s youth-team goalkeeper, however, due to injuries to regular first team goalie Chris Tardif, and reserve team keeper Simon Cox, Clarke was thrown into the deep end in Ramon Diaz`s first game as manager. Clarke also played in the following two games, but his inexperience showed at Rushden where he was responsible for a couple of the home side`s goals.
